The 3DS was also backwards compatible.

The 3DS is also a handheld, which takes FAR fewer resources to make games for.

"Launch Window Games":

Nintendo games:

Pilotwings Resort

Steel Diver

Nintendogs + Cats

Third-Party Games:

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition

The Sims 3

Madden NFL Football

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

Ridge Racer 3D

Super Monkey Ball 3D

Bust-A-Move Universe

Samurai Warriors: Chronicles

Asphalt 3D

Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D

Rayman 3D

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Shadow Wars

Not that all of these are good, or were released until MONTHS later.

The 3DS is a great little console and Nintendo should really put a bigger emphasis on it rather a new Mario related title every Nintendo Direct (imo of course).

As for the PS4 they had a launch window of 26 games:

Angry Birds Star Wars

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Battlefield 4

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Contrast

FIFA 14

Flower

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition

Just Dance 2014

Killzone Shadow Fall

Knack

Lego Marvel Super Heroes

Madden NFL 25

NBA 2K14

Need for Speed: Rivals

Resogun

Skylanders: Swap Force

Sound Shapes

Super Motherload

Trine 2: Complete Story

NBA Live 14

Escape Plan

Tiny Brains

Doki-Doki Universe

flOw

The Pinball Arcade

Given, there's probably little interest in most of them, and some of them had already been released on the previous gen, there were still 26 titles. I don't think we can expect anything of real substance until Q4 this year or 2015.

PlayStation Now should hopefully open up PS3 emulation and Sony already has most of their library (PS1, PS2, PSP and Vita) available online. Eventually, the PS4 will have access to the biggest game library around, unless Nintendo pulls their finger out and adds all the titles from NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube and Gameboys.... but I doubt that'll happen anytime soon. One can only hope :)

I actualy thought Tenkaichi were the best DBZ games, I thought Raging Blast was to easy and the dificulty was dumbdown.

Not sure about the tenkaichi remake though.

The tenkaichi trilogy on the ps2 was awesome especially budokai tenkaichi 3, but the ps3 ultimate tenkaichi one was horrible.

they should listen to the fans and release the improved budokai tenkaichi 3 for the ps4 with a new awesome engine and own playable character design.

Yes the ps4 need more games no question about that but is anyone excited that the last of us is coming to da next gen.

Yes! Such a great game! I haven't been able to play any of the DLC. I'm looking forward to getting into that when I get the chance.

Just when you think Naughty Dog couldn't get any better... They release TLOU. Simply an amazing game.
