Recently in japan there was a poll for this, which I will post the results for on this post.

My question, is following the set bounderies, would you replace, add or change anything on the list, and if so, what would it be?

You must select anime, anime films, and OVA's, between 1960's and the 1990's

No anime from the 2000's

The Japanese vote results

Nikkei editors selected 200 influential shows out of all shows produced in the period between 1960's - 1990's, including TV anime, OVAs and anime films. Total of 1000 Nikkei BP Consulting Survey Monitors, both males and females from the group of 25-34, 35-44, 45-54 years old answered the online survey between 12/11/13 - 12/18/13).

Touch and Maison Ikkoku for me. My definition of old is that it has to at least have been in the 80s. There are other series that I love from that time but these are a couple of my favorites with lots of episodes. And I believe that Japan agrees with me as Touch was just completely released on Blu-Ray (looked pretty damn good) and Maison Ikkoku just had its first box release too. I'm desperately waiting for them to release the next and final one. I need more Kyoko.

I think one of the animes that should be added to this list is definitely Marmalade Boy.

Besides from wanting the older generations to get completely annoyed by how slow and melodramatic the series was overall, the storyline is ridiculous and timeless I would say.

I mean the anime is already older than me and I can still relate to it of course.

Another anime I think should be added should be Kodocha.

It's quite old now but the hilarity of it is oh-so-very timeless. Plus all the dramatic moments just cut through your heart and leaves you to bleed before hitting you with a happy ending.

That's all I can think of for now.

-By the way, I'm new in this community! I'm looking forward to talking to you guys and making new friends!

So PM me.. I guess??

Oh and you guys can call me Linn too!
