Breathless
Helloo! I'm back again. I've had some success asking Kametsu for recommendations, so thought I'd drop by again.I'm looking for an anime that'll make me cry, or at least want to cry. Something sad. :xEven if it's something I've already seen, I'll watch it again. So don't be scared and recommend away! :

DeathTheKid
Naruto, Main Stream and sad. Â Are you being serious? Â OT: Clannad, Clannad: After Story, and AnoHana. Â Only ones I can think of.
Chrisazter
I would Suggest 'Planetes'. But I only cried at the end of the series. It has a really emotional ending. It is an amazing series. But if you want to cry by the gallons I would suggest Clannad/Clannad:AS, and Ef~A Tale of Memories/Ef~A Tale of Melodies. Those are really emotionally charged series. Moodkiller
I second Clannad and Clannad After story (25 episodes each). Air and Kanon (2006) are also options

(without giving away any spoilers xD)Haha! Played the VN and seen the anime + AS, so no worries about spoiling it. ;p Thanks to everyone for recommendations. There's a few new ones, and a lot of old goodies that I'll definitely rewatch. I'll drop by again if I want some more recommendations. :3
yuaiya
The first Pokemon movie The Girl Who Lept Through Time Grave of the Fireflies Voices of a Distant Star (Hoshi no Koe?) Okay, all of those are films, but I couldn't think of a series other than maybe Puella Magi Madoka Magica being sad. But yeah, seriosuly go watch the first Pokemon movie. It's a tearjerker. Even sent a VHS to an internet friend across the country and she agreed. sceptre
Hmm, I can recommend 2 anime scenes (hence Anime's) that standout (won't describe the scene though). Fruits Basket is one (there is 1 particular episode that is very emotional). One Piece also has had 1 or 2 specific episodes that tugged on the heartstrings. angelcandy
I think Angel Beats really got me. Especially the ending. Not enough episodes though.
Moodkiller
I think Angel Beats really got me. Especially the ending. Not enough episodes though. I agree!! Didnt think it would judging by the way the anime was going (as in comedy/happy thoughts) There surely has to be a second season??
Hicks
Casshern Sins is one of the few shows that ever got me to tear up a little, often to the tune of this song.
Koby
Grave of the FirefliesYeah, Grave of the Fireflies was a great tearjerker. Best of all, Kametsu released it on Blu-ray 1080p and 720p.
Hicks
Oh yeah, there's also Madoka Magica. It won't seem like it at first, but it builds up to it.
