Birth By Sleep and 358/2 Days are my personal favorites.

Ooft, just thinking about it makes me want to play them right now.

The first one. I liked the ending and personally felt like it should have ended with that. By the time number 2 came out I was so sick of seeing Disney characters that I ran through it within 2 days and returned it.

I've only played those 2.

I prefer Birth by Sleep, and the ds one as well, because you didnt have to play as Sora, and well It was very enjoyable with the storyline and with the new characters. Also its because I haven't played any of the others aha.

while the others were good i think the 1st one was the best,it has in my opinion the best story. Don't get me wrong i liked the other ones but they get so complicated that sometimes i need to look at the kingdomhearts wiki to understand whats going on ex. unbirths and ventus/venitas

I think it's hard to pick a single kingdom hearts game based solely on the story because each game further develops it. Chain of Memories seems like a filler game until you play slightly KH II and mainly 358/2 days.

That being said I like birth by sleep the best for story because I like the way the three storylines overlap. But KH II is my all time favorite.

2. Kingdom Hearts

3. Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep

4. Kingdom Hearts: Re: Coded

5. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

6. Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories

7. Kinhdom Hearts Chain of Memories

I haven't played any of the Japanese games, so I'm not including those.

I beat him on both games. I think for KH1 I needed to be at about level 90, and KH2 about level 45-60.

Sephiroth never seemed that hard to beat on both games, as long as you paid enough attention to understand his moves and what attacks he's about to use. Granted, being at a high level helps so that one can survive more blows and have access to higher Cure magic. But after a couple failed attempts on both games, I was able to beat him with little trouble since I memorized everything he did.

To me the best Kingdom hearts game was Birth By sleep, where it shows how it all began and because of the ability to go mutiplayer, and fight as one of three characters, and my second favorite was 358/2 days because i could play as Roxas and see his story while also watching Xion and playing as them in mutliplayer mode:beauty:

Birth By Sleep is probably my most favorite to date but I will always love the first one because it is what got me into video games (especially RPGS).

I loved KHII granted even though I have all of the games I have only ever played KHI, KHII and Chain of Memories.
