U Mad Bro? (Sorry, had to do it)

Ok, I am making this thread so that we can list, complain about, or discuss the Anime that we have finished that ticked us off at the end, most notably Cliffhangers, or just how the Anime ended storywise.

I'm not going to make any points just in case someone looks here and finds a spoiler. I don't know how to hide spoilers.lol.

ANYWAYS, here goes.

1) Shuffle!

Loved the storyline, there were comedic moments, romantic moments. The characters were funny and enjoyable to watch, but what ticked me off for one is the scenes they had during the credits were never used in any episodes, and things were said that could have been played off of.

2) Toradora!

Again, loved the characters, loved the plot, and the storyline, but was ticked off because you do not just build something up like they did, and then just end it all. Seriously?

3) Rosario+Vampire

I just found the characters, their personalities and the relationships that were made funny and enjoyable to watch, but the end had way too much of a cliffhanger, and nobody has heard any news of what is going on with it.

That is all I have at the moment, but I can't wait to see what everybody enjoyed, or did not enjoy. Thanks for reading/posting :)

Bro, I'm so mad! So mad at madhouse for ruining the Ichigo 100% manga with that poor excuse of an anime!

To me the manga had a good balance of ecchi, romance and drama. It was the first manga I actually really got into, so I was super excited when I heard there was an anime. They basically thought it was a good idea to cut out the romance, oh yeah, and the drama and anything else that's not ecchi, and leave it as some generic-pure-ecchi-bad-bad-anime.

Oh yeah, Also dissapointed with the Claymore anime. Wish they had followed the manga even if that meant going on hiatus for a while. The ending was... meh? They left it on a cliffhanger but even if they ended it there it still felt a bit off. It defs needed more time to play out for a fulfilling end.

And I'm actually quite surprised you got ticked off at Shuffle!, I actually really liked it through and through. Though it has been a while since I watched it so my memory is probably leaving the bad parts out.

I read a lot more manga than I watch anime so I'm not up-to-date with everything, but the manga for Toradora! and Rosario+Vampire are both still being released. So if the anime have stopped there might be a possibility that it'll continue some time later? Then again it's probably a different ball game.

You really want to be ticked off? watch Berserk the series.

Probably has the biggest WTF ending moment.

Fortunately after years of complaining from the fans, a 3 part movie is being released covering the whole manga. Already part 1 is released.

Still, the ending sucks big time!

YEAH! That's right! Man I totally forgot about Berserk! didn't they just stop it when

Grififth turned into one of the hand of gods?

Glad to hear about the movie though! But the manga is still going, so I don't see how they can cover the whole thing with a 3-part movie? Better than nothing though!

So they took out everything but the ecchi? But doesn't that make for a horrible selling Anime? That sucks. I haven't seen it yet, and I was planning on it too :/

Nope. ecchi sales more than anything. They found out that anime fans are pervs.

It's a lot easier to make a terrible anime and add ecchi... than it is to make a good series that does well.

A lot of great series sell badly... while ecchi anime tops charts even when terrible.

^ Basically that. It's alot safer for them to go the ecchi route than anything else. They might lose the manga fans but they'll gain alot of popularity with the general anime community opposed to trying to appeal to a (somewhat) niche market. If you really do want to watch it don't let my thoughts hold you back! It's not bad, just extremely generic now.

That's why IMO, Anime like Code Geass are gems! Good visuals, audio and storyline doesn't need to fallback to ecchi. I like ecchi too haha! :P Just not when it over-rides everything else.

errrr merrrr gerrrrd echhhi

1.Neon genesis, everything past ep22. This excludes the 'rebuild' movies which are bloody awesome.

2. Darker than black season 2. The main character loses his power and becomes a child beater.

3. Sky crawlers. SO FUCKING BORED. awesome action sequence. SO FUCKING BORED.

4. Bakemongatari. very little being said with too may words. constantly changing the viewing perspective. I can't deny the animation was beautiful for the most part, but the rest was just too slow and nihilistic for my liking.

5. The place promised in our early days. Like sky crawlers but...perhaps worse?

6. The one piece 'skypiea' arc. all I can say is just that I hated this arc with a passion, almost made me drop OP:(

Yeah, Ecchi is good, but not very good when that is the only selling point. But then again, I am one of few who think that way.

I wasn't quite sure what Manyuu Hiken Chou was so I watched a quick trailer, and all I can make out from it is, Boobs! :L Haha!

Ecchi Couples really well with Action though, Tenjou Tenge for example, and to a lesser extent Highschool of the Dead. Argh... I really feel like watching Tenjou Tenge again now! >_<

I think most people are like this too haha! It's just if everyone watches an ecchi series from time to time the numbers stack up! *Shrugs* Or something like that.

Oh, and another series I was dissapointed with was Fate/Stay Night. I feel like they didn't do the game enough justice or maybe it's just because they picked the most boring playthrough route but I was really disapointed with it.

Yay for the Fate Zero series and the Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Bladeworks movie though!
