Nothing quite like having this big huge master of oz on the field after you had grabbed the des wombat, and a mystical sheep along with your polmerization. So yeah, I pick fusions, although in terms of actually duelling, I find it easier to pull off synchros and I'm starting to like using them a lot more. Though xyz's summoning may be a bit scewed compared to the rest of them I understand the attempt. It was built for decks like my fangs where I don't have room for tuners of offshade monsters. Though even that deck frowns on xyzs because it is a normal based deck.Good examples of great monsters.Future fusion into master of oz, chimeratech dragon, fiveheaded dragon, dark paladin, a favorite of my wife, and cyber end dragon.All are recognised as great monsters.Syncrosummon in Naturia beast, naturia leodrake, black rose dragon, stardust as annoying as it is.Again good easy to pull off syncro monsters.Xyz into a wind-up anything really, steelswarm roach, evolzar laggia, flame djinn.I mean each give wonderful oppurtunites, and I sadly think too many people netdeck, but there are some really undervalued cards in all of them. hagi Posted July 30, 2012 Report Share Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) i haven't played yu-gi-oh competitively in quite some time but as far as which type is most broken. i would have to say Xyz as right now there extremely a pain in A$$ to duel against. i.e windups. . xyzs are still pretty new so they are really affected by the the banlist. maybe in September they might get hit idk. Koby Posted July 31, 2012 Report Share Posted July 31, 2012 Synchros get the most play, and many of them feature broken effects.Fusions have pretty much been forgotten outside of the HERO archetype or for spamming Five-Headed Dragon, Chimeratech Overdragon, or Cyber End Dragon via Future Fusion mainly to fill your grave for bigger combos later on in decks that utilize that.XYZ's are still fairly new and what is currently being added to. There still isn't a bunch of support cards for them, but many effects are broken. Good thing is though, their effects are limited to the amount of materials they have. AxelVIII Posted April 27, 2013 Report Share Posted April 27, 2013 Fusions for me. I personally like summoning monsters such as Five-Headed, and Blue-Eyes Ultimate. I find Fusions much easier for summoning than Xyz, or Synchro monsters.
