Just tried it, it's a bit harder since it has all the . " ' - etc stuff in it as well, you can vs other people and they are generally slow, lol owned many of them.

I'm going to be honest I only got 40 WPM (rated me at 31), with like a shit ton of errors lol. It was quite embarrassing compared to you lol.

Rofl, honestly don't feel bad. Like I said this is meant to be for fun. I know quite a lot of people who got under 30, and that's nature. Anyways now that you mention it, I should've made my scores under 40 so people won't feel bad, dang it. I hope people will post some more.

For me I just type everyday and at my usual speed. I don't force myself to type faster, I just slowly improve over time. But I suppose if you practice speed typing everyday you will improve a lot faster, but a pain in the ass for me. I type fast enough, and if I force myself to go even faster I can always go over the 100 WPM mark.

I got 84 for my WPM, although it's a bit of an odd test since I normally don't type "sentences" like that. It required more thinking than I normally do when I type because I kept wanting to progress the "sentence" in a more logical fashion than just strings of words, haha.

This is much harder than copying sentences or even forming logical arguments in your head. Due to the mindless word order my accuracy goes out the window since it's very difficult to look ahead, and I find myself spending more time backspacing than not, but I managed an average of 115WPM.

Give me a few pages from a book, and I can get a bit over 120WPM. I think this is my upper limit; I've been able to type as fast as I can since late in high school and I spent many hours practicing. I've never personally met (witnessed, I suppose) anyone who could type faster than I can but I think it would be cool.

I have a friend who uses two fingers to type and can get get over 50WPM without looking at the keyboard. It's almost disturbing to watch and probably even more difficult than 120 with all your fingers. For a school project he built a program to read input from an Xbox controller and devised a system where you could write text with an analog stick and four buttons. He had to test a bunch of people for speed in various tasks compared to a mouse and keyboard. For the typing test, he just had the standard lazy fox sentence, which I did in 3 and some seconds with the keyboard, but 126 with the controller. Fortunately someone (who had never used a computer before in their life) took 5 minutes to complete it.

Lol Mujkob and Emotional Outlet, you should do the second test I putted out. That seemed to have a bit more logic to it, but it's somewhat harder since they include symbols and numbers. My friend is able to get over 120 WPM easily, in all situations. Though the way I type was self taught, I only really use three of my fingers to type and reserve the pinky and thumb for stuff like shift and spacebar. Also I don't think I use correct fingering, but like it matters right? Lols

Lol hahaha same, but lucky for me I met someone in person who can type faster than anyone I will probably ever know.

This one had hypens in it, which messed me up a little. D: But I feel better doing this test than the first one, because it actually made sense.

I did like it a bit more,but I think having the words disappear from the input was messing me up. Also ghosts.

I type kind of correctly? Like the fingers that are supposed to hit certain keys do hit those certain keys, but my hands hover over the keyboard a bit higher than they should, I think. I am able to type without looking at the keyboard, with the exception of symbols because who uses those things, haha.

My average is 55 and that makes me cry I used to type in the ballpark of 80 T.T
