lemmingllama
Depends on the kind of drunk. Angry drunks need to be either soothed or knocked out. Sad drunks just need to be consoled, but it doesnt really matter because they'll forget by the morning. Happy drunks just need to be contained in a small area. And horny drunks can be left with each other, or knocked out if they go for you.

lemmingllama
Do they come home drunk or do they drink at home? And is there a place where you can hole up to avoid them?
Hōtarō
You're 19. You have options. Don't say "run away", that just makes you look really childish. You could either confront them and tell them to knock it off, move out, and suck it up and deal with it. Whatever you pick you're not "running away". seirachan
there are countless questions we would have to ask you about running away before we get anywhere. That would be better to talk to about someone you know in real life but you might not have someone to talk to. My brother was a drunk but I didn't have to deal with him that much he would mostly party in the basement. I hated him more when he wasn't drunk cause he would beat me. Only once did he really bother me when he was drunk cause out of no where he came up and started yelling at me saying, "You told Sam Steven was bad" or something like that(Sam was Steven my other brothers ex-girlfriend) I had no idea wtf he was talking about I didn't even talk much with that girl cause I didn't like her. So he punched me and I looked at my brother Steven asking him what the heck was going on and he just looked pissed off and walked away. -.-' I have no idea where they got that from but it's been years. But yeah we don't know if you have any parents, if you go to school and the list goes on. Hopefully you wouldn't run away just to sleep under a bench. Try to think of a place to stay i guess. † Mute point
If you have your own bedroom in that house you stay in, Lock the door, turn on your own music to drown out the noise from them. This is a temporary solution... Long term, save up and get out.
Digatu
Save up and get out as said above. It's unlikely they will change their habits at all.Easier said than done for sure.
Monad-Gnostis
All of you's have been extremely helpful, but I think I'm stuck here. It drives me nutz sometimes but, I thought of something that helps me through these things. I think of the children, then if that doesnt work then I think of the ones before me that came, (ones born and died before me, they made the foundation that helps us all thrive in our present lives) That is my key to getting through this. ZeroPenguins
It's quite simple, take away all their cash or even steal them. Without the dough they cannot buy liquor xD. Another way is to join in with them and drink all of it. Just make sure you are able to handle it and hope that you don't get cancer. Ok lol just joking about those two, I can't really think of an serious answer, but the best way is to tell them to get help if they drink too much. Libitinarius
The best thing is to let them do their own thing as eventually they will stop getting drunk. You should also keep an open mind and seem sympathetic to their circumstance. Though it may be impossible to do so with someone who isn't always reasonable. Drunks are easily delt with if you keep a mild temperament and give them their space.
