sometimes i write stories or poems or songs, sometimes i just record my thoughts.

anyone else do that?

if you can use your ears and mind then anything can inspire you, even a touch.

share some thoughts i have a few if anyone would like to read.

"you are to me what the water is to the ocean and seas so what am i without you?"

the answer is empty.

something like that its really simple

and i even made up the lines i used for my sig thats about jack of blades from fable.

I'm a pretty creative person, I'd like to write a book sometime, or, more of a script really. But no, I don't like to write. If I have a creative idea or story I just keep it in my head and develop it over time. Then one day... it's gone... and a new idea comes to me. It may seem silly since I could easily just write them down and come back to them at a later time, but like I said, I don't like to write.

How can I explain this.. It's almost like as soon as I begin to write it down, or type it, that perfect image of my idea is gone. As you guys can probably tell, I'm not very good with words so maybe you can imagine how difficult it is for me to put my ideas on paper and still manage to capture what I was originally thinking. I rather just keep it in my head and keep it to myself so I can find out where my stories go than to attempt to write it down and lose interest :)

Oh, I really like how they scroll, I'm easily amused lol

neat i'll check them out.

i started writing my freshmen year of high school, i started rhyming my friends names into raps

but im not into conventional rap anymore.

and the stories i made are lost to me atm.

this is something i posted on my facebook bit of a fast pace type of literature.

give me a reason, for my being,

tell me the things, i should have listened,

take my shots at life, but i keep missin,

why does the wind, tell me different,

open the doors for a new generation,

our time is gone, but we keep on reaching,

welcome tomorrow when your still sleeping,

dreams are for people who arent seeing,

spread out your mind with the jaws of life,

throw up your hands to hold down strife,

speak to the wind, when it howls,

listen to the earth as it echos,

im just a man who doesnt follow,

but i can see you lead, the bright tomorrow,

witness the end of man kind,

how far we got, passed the line,

put down your heads and and pray for love,

dont look to the sky, for hands above,

keep your mind open through the lies,

this is the end for all man kind.

I love writing - when I was in secondary school, I always carried a notepad to write in. It is odd how stories can come to a person and I've managed to jot some of these down and tie a few together to create a larger world. I've written short stories; poems and some novel-length ideas - I hope to get these published one day, providing they're good enough :)

Right now, I miss not being able to write as much as I used to and so I sneak the time when I can and I have a few ideas in the works - both original writings and fanfiction.

My fanfiction can be viewed here: http://www.fanfiction.net/~erutanxiku

and my original works don't have a home yet...except for my USB...

I used to write alot of different things, but I've always found it hard to actually finish something.

Sometimes halfway through a story I lose interest or just simply run of out of ideias; other times I just end up not liking what I wrote on a second read. But it's fun either way, for personal reasons or just to let your imagination run wild a little, it's an hobby that some people find to be relaxing (I do).

Wow, thanks :) It's not that impressive (I think) seeing as I have much the same trouble as Kaoru - I find it hard to finish something either because I leave it so long that my ideas have faded away, or I can't find a way to continue it ^_^;;

I know what you mean, I listen to music all the time (mainly movie scores) and, it gives me so many writing ideas. When I go to write them down, though, they just end up sounding corny, so I don't write them down and I eventually lose the ideas.

this thread is a bit redundant...i mean, there is a whole sub section dedicated to various forum members writing literature and the likes.... just as mae said....

As to my answer of the question, yeah. I love to write, but only when I have a good idea, and can think of a way to translate it into text... I have a similar problem to Dahlia, having an extremely vivid imagination, but still find it hard to put it into words. Althought despite this I've managed to write a few stories for the forums, and also managed to write a pretty large series of stories, or at least rough drafts on most of them... Hopefully my first proper output pleases my the publisher...fingers crossed! :P

yeah i noticed the sub forum like right after i started this, but awesome good luck on publishing.

creating a story is always so cool to read, because everyone has their own way of seeing, and will always see something in a different way.

i was writing a cartoon like story that was just a lot of my fantasy and imagination.

but lately my friend has been working on song writing and thats what i've spent a lot of time on.
