mriana
Hi All n_nI agree with almost with everyone in some ways lol...I started with the anime coz there werent any other series that would be worth to watch it (sorry if I hurt some1 with this) I thought first "hmm it sounds good let's check it" ~ it wasnt that bad, that time only was around 3 episodes out, so I decided to read the manga as well ~ the anime in the beginning followed the manga, so I liked it that way and the story wasn't that bad (I'm still reading the manga) but after the 7-8 ep I finished the anime....its screwed everything....so for me it was a BIG disappointment, I'm fine with fillers - all anime have them - but to change the happenings this much with actions that wouldnt have happened ~ like Shiemi runs to Rin to stop him?! oh man WTF?! ~ ...so I decieded to stop watching the anime, it really pissed me off in some ways....well I don't say it's the worst....but I kinda prefer if the anime follows the manga story/action of course it's not bad if it doesn't follow it that strictly, but too much changes can kinda screw the whole story... >.<
Shirotora
I actually kind of liked this show, except for the ending......In my opinion, the creators of the anime had to make do with a low(er) budget and a series that wasn't too far ahead of them. Sure, the outcome wasn't spectacular, and sure, the story line needs (more than) a little tweaking here and there, but the idea of the anime was good. To me, that makes the anime worth watching (but not being obsessed by it or ranting at it). If any more episodes came out, then the anime would probably be better, but we only have the episodes out now, so everyone is going to have to deal with it. As to the differences in story line, some of the events wouldn't have worked out; they were either too episode-consuming for a small series or just wouldn't have worked with the audience (or the budget). The producers did the best they can, so move on!
Zanco
I disagree completely, and that's because you're a fuckin' hypocrite. You're saying the series in general sucks and that the manga is good. Maybe, you sent your message wrong but that's what I got from it. : ]

BlackLolitarose
The anime made no sense... It was going well and then about five or six episodes from the ending it got messed up. It's like they pushed the fast-forward button and forgot to turn it off. I seriously wondered if I somehow skipped an episode because I had no idea what they were doing or why they were doing it. And the ending was very anticlimactic.
†Anras Rune
Like lordofelemental said and koby said...the ending basically branched off from the mang to allow for a second season. Which I do believe will be on its way considering the popularity of the anime. Also, too address the other topics you brought up... The development in the manga AND the anime is pretty similar, not completely accurate but close imo. The reason they make the whole legs thing you mentioned in your first point is kinda a juxtaposition thing common in most anime/mangas. The kid is the son of satan, yet he is still innocent, therefore he is the good guy. Either that or the artists are dirty bastards....which is often the case unfortunatly....lolThe movement thing is mostly due to cost. It is quite an expensive and time consuming endeavour illustrating either of the two (manga or anime) much more so than most people seem to realise. Anime especially need to keep costs down, so recycling frames is the easiest to save a few pennies.
shadowtheman
This was an otaku b anime. No real or simple plot, no heavy charecter developement but lots cute characters and innuendos. In a sense Moe'. I can only assume that from your rant your an otaku a. In depth plot, heavy character or melodramatic development. Lack of fan service and fickle animation. I have to agree with a lot of what Nero D. Ace said. It may have changed in subtle ways over the years but this is just how the industry works. These are people who work there daily grind just like any one else. The only thing I don't agree with is the whole all animes have bad endings thing. I think this is a misconception created by the fact that Otaku a type anime being in decline at the moment. Other wise I have seen a lot of great endings. engsta
Aside from the fact that it deviates from the manga, it's a fairly awesome series. You can't always have a truly faithful adaptation of a manga series to an anime, because most anime are made before the manga is able to be completed. Leviathan
Here's what I personally thought about the anime once I read about it. I thought "WOW, a story about a boy who is actually the son of satan, this should be interesting." But I was very dissapointed to see how it turned out. People would expect a lot of fighting from a story like that. But the only fighting was between Amaimon and Rin. And apart from fighting we saw a lot of comedy in here which in most cases were a little awkward. Anyway this anime still has a lot of potential. So i will be looking forward to the second season.
