PC Death "To Watch" list

Recommended Posts

Following the recent death of my PC, I've found I have a lot of spare time on my hands. I do have plenty of books to read but, fortunately for me, the majority of stuff on here I've burned onto a disc. I've had this sort of thing happen before except that was a corrupted hdd that screwed me over that time. Anyway this is a list I've come up with to watch while I save for a new pc.

"Must See" Animes I haven't watched

  • Code Geass
  • Durarara!!
  • Highschool Of The Dead
  • Kekkaishi
  • Soul Eater

NB: I haven't included Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Darker Than Black or Wolf's Rain because I'll be getting them for my birthday next week.

Being a bit of a gaming nut I figured I'd also watch these as they are, loosely, based on games.

"Gamanimes" :)

  • .hack// stuff
  • Arc The Lad
  • Blue Dragon
  • Devil May Cry
  • Disgaea
  • Final Fantasy Unlimited
  • Ragnarok
  • Sands Of Destruction

These are a group of stuff that caught me eye for various reasons

Curious About

  • Bamboo Blade - Self-contradiction?
  • Blade Of The Immortal - Saw it in a shop
  • Claymore - Title = Sword = Win?
  • Dragonaut: The Resonance - I like Dragons so I wonder... Dragon/Astronaut hybrid?
  • Guin Saga - Looks interesting. Cheetah head?!
  • Hero Tales - By the same person who wrote FMA
  • Lunar Legend - Don't know why really.
  • Scrapped Princess - Name intrigued my interest.
  • The Tower Of Druaga - I like dungeon crawler games. Anime is like that.
  • The Twelve Kingdoms - Just sound epic from the title.

So, you can see there is a big list, the point is, is there anything you would add? Anything you would say I should avoid? Any order to how you think I should watch them? I'm going to be out of a PC till at least Christmas so I've got plenty of time to fill. I appreciate any help and opinions...

Code Geass is awesome.

Dururura is nothing special in my opinion. Could have been something great, but instead ended up being relegated to the 'meh' pile.

Claymore is definately worth the watch.

Soul Eater is great fun for the most part, if suffering from a slightly weak ending.
