Well, the FEAR series as well as New Vegas has renewed my belief that Fps's can have good stories to, so I was wondering if someone can recommend some other fps games with good stories, new or old it doesn't matter, I've already played

Fallout 3/New Vegas

Fear 1,2 and 3

Currently playing Bioshock

all the Cod Games

The STALKER series and Metro 2033 are very atmospheric, Half-Life of course, Crysis is ok, but I heard they messed up the story in the 2nd one, Call of Juarez if you like westerns, No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 are great if you can stand the now dated graphics. Far Cry is ok, too. Singularity is similar to Bioshock, maybe check that out.

It really depends of your definition of a good story.

singularity fades in comparison to bioshock imo, best fps i played is of course half life, there is clive barkers jericho which might be worth checking at least cuz of clive's name in the title, call of chthulhu dark corners of the earth is a game adaptation of lovecrafts stories if youre ready for poor graphics(they call them that in the media, imo they were just fine) and hard gameplay, condemned criminal origins if you liked original fear, no one lives forever (as ntk said) is an old pretty funny spy game again from fears makers. Stalker if you feel ok that the game is made in ukraine and pretty much has that post soviet touch to it, with vodka in the inventory and kalashnikov in hands.

Thanks for the suggestions, graphics aren't really an issue for me, so I'll check everything out, starting with Condemned.

Awesome! On a side note condemned is more of a fighter than a shooter (its an event to actually find a gun in the game, and you only have one clip after that the char tosses the gun or uses it melee) . And the sequel never made it to pc.

P.s. We guys should find a way to play smth together sometimes.
