deanzel Posted April 25, 2013 Report Share Posted April 25, 2013 I can't watch anime through my computer monitor. I need to see it on a big screen. I use Plex on my NAS to sort out my entire library (2+ TBs of Anime, 8+ TBs of Movies and regular TV shows) and stream it to my tv with a sony Google TV player with Plex on it (Plex is godly). It works amazing for everything and direct plays almost all my stuff except for 10-bit god damn anime encodes. No streamers or non-computer hardware support 10-bit natively and my NAS can't transcode 1080p/720p 10-bit content well. I don't want to move my labtop every time I want to watch anime and love the pimped out remote that comes with my GTV. RANGIT Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 I use MediaPortal (using MPC-HC as my video player) with MyAnime3.Basically, my PC is connected to my TV acting like an HTPC in extended desktop.For my remote, I use my PS3 controller + AutoHotkey.
