blank sentiment Posted January 29, 2012 Report Share Posted January 29, 2012 I say Shinigami cuz Soul Reaper seems like another name for a Grim Reaper. LOLWell, that's pretty much what their job is. They send souls from the world of the living to one of the two worlds that the dead inhabit. Job description aside, Soul Reapers is a bit more original, and since their nothing more than human (usually, but sometimes you get ones like Komamura) with powers derived from their own spirit energy, as opposed to being "gods". Obviously, the "true" term would be Shinigami, but thanks to Death Note, I can only think of those Shinigami. And of course Shinigami-sama from Soul Eater.
