Orihime: You call her useless? Man the story has relied on her character. Were it not for her characters that are alive may have died. Had it not been because of her everyone would not have invaded Hueco Mundo. Had it not been for her Ichigo wouldn't have gotten healed and therefore died. Had it not been for her.. well yeah you get the point.

Chad: He plays a HUGE part in the next arc and you finally find out what he is and it's a group of people with similar powers that help Ichigo regain some sort of power. Useless? Seems not very likely.

Ishida: His father and Ichigo's father has some history that has been hinted at but never really played out yet. The Quincy's have played a big role in the story somewhat. Such as without Uryu they would have never summoned that huge hollow in the beginning which really tested Ichigo. Uryu, as a Quincy, has a terrible history with one of the captains and has time and time again helped Ichigo in his quests.

Next time try to pick a character that is actually useless and hasn't played or going to play a huge part in making the story what it is. All your picks were totally inaccurate and crap. If you want to choose a useless character choose something like Kon or Kenpachi's Vice-Captain. Or even either of Ichigo's siblings.

i diagree that yachiru is a useless character because she shares an important back story with kenpachi and without the back story the character wouldnt be who she is and second she designed soul candy used by rangiku, hitsugaya, and the others during there time in the world of the living. She may be more useless then most but i would still disagree that she is useless.

Like you said, their back story only defines her. It didn't do much towards making Kenpachi what he is. As for designing 'soul candy' again it's rather pointless and designing it has little influence on the actual story or any characters involved. So all I can say is neither of your points actually help support your case. She is one of the few named Soul Reapers who has never been shown to fight.

Orihime was the DAMSEL IN DISTRESS but I guess Ichigo and other's was in a greater distress than her , pretty useful in getting others asses kicked just for her pathetic little existence. Truth is Ichigo almost died , let me count 1;2;3 , I guess 3 times (that's as far as I can remember). Almost forgot about her healing powers yeah she did save Ichigo hmmm, yeah she did save a few others characters hmmmmmm , and She could have regenerated head-captain's left-hand (like she regenerated that arrancar girl's upper body), but she didn't , I know why because she freaked out at the sight of his beard.

True the whole story developed because she was unable protect even herself with her so called powers.

She does have pair of beautiful soft-spots:beauty: but I got no soft-corner for this little piece of shit cause she's weak , pathetic and utterly useless:beat_brick:.

But before the whole Divine Comedy Arc , sorry I meant the Hell arc HE was.............. Big & Macho .................. Silent & Scary ........................... Weak & Pathetic and Utterly Useless:beat_brick:.

URYUU ISHIDA: Uryuu's Father have a history with Ichigo's father , Uryuu's father have a history with Ichigo's mother , Uryuu's father have history with Ichigo's grandmother , Uryuu's father have history with Angelina Jolie,with flying hamburgers in Paris, with UFO and Uryuu's father might share a future with Ichigo's sisters and kon but who cares cause nothing happened in the actual story ; nothing was shown what happened between them , and this is about Uryuu Ishida .

Uryuu summoned the huge hollow a.k.a Menos Grande-class=Gillian actually this is not Naruto and he used a stupid little bait to draw out minor hollows and as for that huge hollow Aizen sent that thing to test Ichigo.

Now its getting serious cause Uryuu has serious bad-blood history with one of the captains / Mayuri Kurotsuchi . Hmmmmmmmmm so what has he done about that, well he has defeated Mayuri but at the cost of his Quincy powers , he was badly poisoned , he was half dead and in the end Nemo gave him some antidote to cure him of the poisoning or-else there was a sure cut in heaven for him............ may be Hell :oh:

As far as I can remember Uryuu was little bit of use when he gave some info to Mayuri about The 8th espada ....no,wait...... Uryuu actually didn't do thing Mayuri implanted some sort of freaky device in his ass that studied his every movement even when he was in the toilet

He also came to some sort of use when he gave the half dead Ichigo some time when his inner hollow took over him (giving him the 2nd hollow form and mask) while fighting with Ulquiorra.

Uryuu might not be as useless as the other 2 but Weak and Pathetic all the same:beat_brick:.

I know these characters that I mentioned are important in the story-line in their own weak and pathetic way but I never cared much about any pathetic wimps like these. PLZ don't take me badly.

I don't know if U wanted to insult me by saying that my opinion was total crap , I don't care much about that . Honestly I don't like to argue over something so small.

okay, first off - Smiley much? Honestly, it's really hard to distinguish between paragraphs and lines with all those huge smileys.

What you're insinuating is that just because a character is weak, it means they're useless.

In that case, Ichigo is useless because he lost to Byakuya. Or Hitsugaya is useless cuz he got beat up by "Halle Berry".

Weak characters also often play a role in character development. And it's only because they're weak do they strive to become stronger.

What Koby meant by Kon and the 2 sisters being useless characters is that they might as well be. They only ever play major roles in filler episodes. In other words, they're useless to the story.

Without Oreihime's healing powers, Ichigo would have died 100 times over.

Uryu's tactical interference also provided him with the edge against the battle against Ulquiorra when he took down Yammy.

And Chad seems to have an important role in the current arc.

So, NO. they're FAR from USELESS.

It has to do with how much they did to make the story what it is. The damn 'damsel in distress' is one of the BIGGEST roles a character could play that isn't the main character. It's far from a useless role as without the damsel in distress there often would not even be a story.

Totally agree with Koby and Iki. Weak strength =/= uselessness. EVEN in a shonen fighting anime, fighting isn't the only way to advance the story. Honestly, Nameless, it kinda seems that you're not giving anime in general the credit it deserves.

All right , Koby & Iki ,I guess I get your points , U both were stating your points as a Viewer sitting in front of the screen , Yeah ! in that respect my opinion is really invalid. Trust me I know pretty damn well how Important these 3 characters are in the development of the Anime.

Actually my point of view was different , what I meant was , as if U were character in the anime , sitting on a couch , watching the whole drama going on like a Omnipresent God. I just imagined the whole thing in my weird way and trust me it lot for fun in this way .

Kon is the most annoying and useless imo, and all those mod souls from the bount fillers are a waste of time... but of those 3 originally stated i would have to say Chad from what i've seen, he seems to only have brute strength, which isn't even that strong when it comes down to it... he just shows some strength, gets beaten up and doesnt say much
