Bleach was not canceled forever, it's just on break until the Manga finishes and thank goodness. I wasn't interested in seeing another horrible filler saga. I actually liked the Bounto and Muramasa filler, but the one with the caption clones was so bad that I never want to see anything like that again. It's not even about how much money and time it would take to pull it off, some things were simply designed for an anime art style. Case in point, Ichigo standing there in a black kimono with a gaint sword on his back will never look as cool in real life as in anime form. It's just not possible. When will these companies learn that fans have no interest in spending the 1st hour of the movie devolping background and history for characters who won't even exsist in the actual series. Then they use the last 35 minutes on actual action, fuck that. Hell Chapter got right into the good stuff and was a non stop roller coaster ride. I bought Dragonball Evolution even though many said I shouldnt and I don't think I was the only one. Went to see Avatar TLA on the big screen even though disappointment was inevitable. deviousx Posted December 2, 2012 Report Share Posted December 2, 2012 I think live action movies can work if directors and studios weren't in a rush to churn things out.I've dreamed directing my favourite anime into movies dbz/bleach/naruto and in my minds eye they are awesome.Problem is right some things don't translate well especially some clothes and hairstyles would look very wrong but with patience and imagination it could work. Only thing that completely fail is modernising them *cough* dbz evo*cough*.Mind you could gone well but execution was flawed it seems 5 10 sec previews where best things.To ways you can approach it make it for fans or make it universal. Universal approach is just dumb down so anyone never heard of anime may watch it but they tend to fail as cramming 100+ episodes of information into 1hr30 is a major fail. Any longer and it drags out.Make it for fans and not really going to make the big bucks they want so yout funding will be limited to that high school media project.I personally would keep original creator in loop if possible and keep referencing back to fans Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
