Guest Morpheus Posted July 25, 2007 Report Share Posted July 25, 2007 the piece is nice, but i find it to be empty. you have a great c4d render, i really like the choice of color, very appealing to the eye. the swirls give the render a very nice touch (i'm guessing you either used the pen tool or a default ps brush). i'm no pro at large works of art, since i pretty much was into making smaller pieces for forum sigs nor do i have any experience with 3d/c4d renders except when i use them in sigs, so in no way am i saying that the piece is bad. i just feel that the bg of the work falls flat, it looks like a simple gradient and simple does not necessarily mean bad, but i just feel that since the render was so well done that it could have been incorporated with more thought into your piece as a whole. of course, i don't know what your true vision of the piece was, and in your da post you wrote that you were experimenting with the different programs you used, so perhaps you accomplished what you were going for. just my opinion Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
