hi i just registered and i am being cautious, as with all new sites, i look forward to enjoying this site but can you tell me. i am being asked  to "display notifications on my desktop"

would this be within "the browser environment, on your website" like in my account? or do you really want to post notifications upon my computer desktop out side of your browser environment?

i dont really have the language to say it any otyher way, like i said, im new, and cautious.

thanks

I think Chrome will if you have it set to run in background under the options menu.

Unless you are using Chrome, iirc that displays notifications even if the browser is closed?

Pollux is correct, Chrome can optionally run in the background to continue to display notifications. I don't think it'll receive them from a website unless the site is open though, so you'd still have to have at least one tab opened from Kametsu to get them as desktop notifications.
