There seems to be a consensus among Muv-Luv fans that the anime adaptation did such a disservice to the LN source material that it would have been better to have just waited for the VNs to be released. An anime like Orange Road would have been ok if it only had 13 Eps, but nnnnnnnnnnooooooooooo, they just chose to torture their viewers with 40+ eps of the same shit. I had high hopes until I got to the girls being trapped in a room and peeing on the floor. What a stupid episode, and it killed the anime for me. Loved the first...well first half of season one. Second half was okay. Loved the first half of season two, but the second half of that season almost made me hate the anime as a whole...
