The new US release is pretty much the best. Video is the same as Japanese 2014 releases (based on screens and bitrate) and it is dual-audio. I have not checked audio and bonus content, but not everyone cares about bonus that. EDIT: US release has 2 different dubs - 1992 (probably Streamline) and 2000 (probably Manga), but I am not familiar with available dubs (I watched it subbed). Those have to be artificially created channels as the original was 1.0 and that's in DTS-HD MA, right? I'm not downloading it to encode or anything anyway. Just probably going to throw it up on PTP. Those have to be artificially created channels as the original was 1.0 and that's in DTS-HD MA, right?I don't know what the source is, but I assume it is analogue, so depending on processing that was done, 2.0 and 5.1 might sound decent (or at least better than upmixing 1.0 on playback). As I said, I have not compared audio tracks, so it is only speculation.Still, most of Funimation's releases are upmixed from 2.0 to 5.1 and most people are (probably) pleased with that. I'm not downloading it to encode or anything anyway. Just probably going to throw it up on PTP.You can do a remux of existing encodes (there should be several). Also, I have no idea what is PTP.
