Dai Maxwell Posted October 11, 2014 Report Share Posted October 11, 2014 I think I read at the time it was due to the final arc not being finished in the manga at the time they were animating it, so they opted to write their own ending. This caused ratings to go down enough by the time the manga concluded that the PTB marked it as a loss of interest in the overall story and they didn't think it was worth it to finish it.
