Tanis
Released today. All my observations are based on being a member of the NTSC-U.The graphics are better. The music gets a good reworking. The new 'Expert' grid looks cool. The new content, such as 'Dark Aeons' and 'FF: Pokemon' seems fun.The addition of MORE story, before - during and after FF10's main. And, to top if off.The PACKING, of all things, is really damn cool! Koby
The new 'Expert' grid looks cool. The new content, such as 'Dark Aeons' and 'FF: Pokemon' seems fun. This isn't new. It was in the international version. It just wasn't released in the USA.

It was also in the PAL version because It was the first FF I've played God, Dark Yojimbo was a complete bitch to fight xD

† poetictragedy
I was thinking about picking this up yesterday, but I still have my old versions if I want to play them. I think I'll wait for the price to go down a bit and get it used.
reizerozero
I got the FFX Limited Edition for £18, which I very happy with, now if I can just get Nino Kuni, KH HD Remix and all the PS plus games on my list done I can start FFX HD. Anon316
Funny enough, I still have my PS2 verison of FFX-2 in new condition.. I have only ever played it for 5mins. I will need to finish it at some point, as well as go through FFX on the expert sphere grid, and since I already have a previous save, I will be able to understand all of the al bhed language from the beginning. Since I collected all the items. Edited March 25, 2014 by Anon316

reizerozero
Ni No Kuni is a fantastic game. Currently: Trying to dodge 200 lighting bolts in a row. Fuck You Lulu. Fuck You. There is a hole/crater spot that you can use to do the lighting, it makes the whole dodging 200 strikes a lot easier. There is a you tube vid of it, that's easy to find. JimDaddy
So the jist is that it's actually worth getting then? It always seems like the "HD Remasters" of things are generally terrible/not improved/just an upscaled version with slightly reworked graphics. Frozen_Solid
There is quite a big difference in graphics with this game, wish they would make blitzball multiplayer online

Kid Ryan
I've been wanting to pick up a copy...but I just can't justify spending $40 on a PS2 HD Remaster Collection. I'll probably end up waiting until Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) sales, hopefully it'll be cheap as $25 by then.
Tanis
I've been wanting to pick up a copy...but I just can't justify spending $40 on a PS2 HD Remaster Collection. I'll probably end up waiting until Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving) sales, hopefully it'll be cheap as $25 by then. I can. I've had a PS3 a fairly long time, so I've got most of the older games I want so whatever. PSN+ helps.
Kid Ryan
@Tanis: As tempting as those PSN+ deals are...I dislike digital game downloads. I prefer physical retail blu-ray discs for PS3 games. I'd only buy a PS3 game digitally if there was no retail version (in USA), like Quest for Booty, Festival of Blood, Castle of Illusions, Ratchet: Deadlocked HD, etc. (besides, I've still got PS3 games from 2008-2013 that I need to buy first, before I can focus on newer games) Here's my current PS3 Games Wish List: http://pastebin.com/03bsamrs (I'm avoiding anything over $25 New on Amazon that's just one game for now)
Tanis
^I understand, but I still love PSN+.It's the only digital games I get for console, cause they're FREE.For AC I'd suggest getting the AC2 Trilogy Pack. Kid Ryan
@Tanis: I'd choose to pay for a retail copy from Amazon over a free digital copy from PSN, even if the retail copy was $40+...that's just how I am, never going to change lol (I've had others try to reason with me before). As for the AC2 Trilogy...I just bought the retail copy of Assassin's Creed II for $12.14 New from Amazon, and I should own Brotherhood on the last Saturday of May 2014. (I'll wait on buying Revelations until June or July, assuming I don't get another paying job soon)
