Mesterius Posted March 2, 2014 Report Share Posted March 2, 2014 (edited) Hi, I was just wondering if anybody here has been watching/recording the episodes of the brand-new animated series "The Tom and Jerry Show"? It had its world premiere on the Canadian Teletoon channel yesterday. Would be awesome to see some episodes uploaded if anyone has recordings. The actual premiere took place at 8 PM yesterday, but the episodes seem to have been rerun several times later on, and will probably continue to be rerun alongside new episodes. Warner Bros. has treated the characters pretty well within recent years, which is a bit surprising, so they'll probably do a decent job with this show. The episodes attempt in bringing back the old charm from the old Tom and Jerry episodes from the 1940s and 1950s. However, they lack in the smooth animation and wacky scenarios the old one had as this one has many plots that are expected with sound clips from the old show, which to me makes me feel like I would rather watch the old show and not this one. Overall, it still lesser in degree compared to the original and I would only recommend it if there is really nothing else to watch on TV. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I cant stand it when they redo the artwork and on top of it make a terrible remake to ruin its reputation. I probly wont care for it nearly as much as I do the classic cartoons of this show.
