griver_007
Greetings!Hi guys! I've got a Format Factory problem.I have no issues converting files to .avi or mobile video formats. however when I tried converting my files to .mp4 I've got a couple of errors:failed to load ffmpeg.dllmp4creator.exe has stopped workingHere's what I did so far, restarting computeruninstalling re-installing FFMy original FF is 2.77 version. Since I downloaded it from CNET it was upgraded to 2.95But that made my problem worse. Now I cannot convert correctly i.e. 500mb mkv file converted to .avi result is 28 mb file playable sound only whatever profile I use to convert it. Same if I convert it to other formats.Pls. help me out.Thank you
Koby
What files are you trying to convert? Are they 10-bit (Hi10) encodes?
griver_007
What files are you trying to convert? Are they 10-bit (Hi10) encodes?I don't know how to check if its a 10-bit(Hi10) encodes. However, this is an MKV file, 400-500mb size, 1080p, if this information would be helpful.
CebuXtrEm
Why don't try other than Format Factory like MeGUI and Xvid4PSP or other that you want. In Xvid4PSP you can encode to 10-bits(Hi10P) but in MeGUI you can't.
† L4ugh
If you're not sure what the files bit depth is, download and install MediaInfo. It will tell you pretty much everything about the video file you use it on, including the bit depth. Putting a check mark next to the explorer extension on installation, will give you popup info on the files you hover your mouse over.

nishangoswami
hi10p works in format factory fine i think you are having a codec problem try and reinstall your codec packs or uninstall everything and just install format factory's inbuilt codecs by selecting the optioninstall iside codecs at the end of install
CebuXtrEm
Megui supports 10-bits(Hi10P) just download the correct version.I know that but I have my reason not to use 10-bits(Hi10P) to MeGUI. Because if you update the MeGUI the x264 won't update. So I use Xvid4PSP for 10-bits(Hi10P) and you can manually update.
