Koby
I don't know what it is about Final Fantasy games but they can make the most cliche love story and make it interesting. However this game seems alot more action packed so could there be a possibility of no romance? Just a "its time the save the world again" story? Exodus
I want there to be a certain level of romance, but not to the point of FFVIII. Judging from Versus and what little I know about the man with blue hair, and the fact he is royalty, I'm sure he has his lady in some far off country who is a princess and such. And the chick from Final Fantasy XIII? Well her and the blonde man who was recently revealed seem to both be tough, cocky, and arrogant. Perfect match. I can see them ending up falling in love throughout the game, denying possibly, and finally admitting their love at the end. It seems rather cliché which is Square's style. Though I'd love for them to focus more on action, which I'm sure they will, there will be romance to a certain extent, which is fine, so long as it isn't Squall and Rinoa stuff. Darkstriders
I want romance but the story shouldnt revolve around it. Action is most important.

Pulse
After the whole FFX-2 fiasco I dont want another FF romance ever...
Visual_Kei
Not really like just as Pulse stated. I mean the other FF games had romance but didn't push it too far like X-2 did. Could be alright for me, but the atmosphere of the game seem too serious and war like for anytime romance can be sparked lol.
WHA‡s Up PEoPle
Give it a romance, but make it like FFVII and make it there but not that important - In fact another love triangle would be interesting.
Whiplash
I think that what makes the Final Fantasy series so interesting is that they mix romance, action, comedy, etc. perfectly into all of their games. It gives the characters more depth and can make it easier for the player to empathise with them.

Pulse
I don't mind the romance because it wouldn't be a proper FF without the slightest bit of romance... Just don't make it to cheesy...
Koby
Yep, no FF has been without the romance, action comedy etc. So I'm guessing it'll be the same with FFXIII.In Final Fantasy XII, the only romance happened before the actual game happened (Ashe and her husband Prince that died before game started). Other then that there was absolutely no romance as far as I can remember. =P

Koby
That wasn't really a spoiler as its only whats in the opening scene of the game, which is what content for sites (even completely spoiler free sites) base their info on. =P
NRO
FFXII's story didn't have time for romance, but showed great camaraderie between characters. Which I think was far more important because of all the different backgrounds they came from. Which made the player (in my opinion) more intimate with the characters them self.I put yes, but not really for a story immersed in romance, but I rather see some form of intimacy over constant explosions. More so then what little we saw in FFXII. Which is why I'm pulling for romance in form of a love triangle.EDIT: Though not what we saw in VIII
Adidaas
No romance please, a love interest makes the main character a little more of a sissy if he has a love interest. Not saying I mind romance in RPG's, just the way they always do it in FF is whack.
alex_maz
i think that the romance touch would be good for final fantasy series in general.take into consideration cloud-teefa , tidus-yuna ..............yet a final fantasy game shoud not be lost within a sea of romance.just a good touch to smoothen things up.what do u think?
