Trend
I never really thought I would really take this anime seriously. Despite that I started watching it because so many people have recommended it. Well I almost stopped after the second episode but I decided to watch a bit further. And by the 22nd or so episode I'm starting to get curious about the plot. Then I got to this episode.............That, my friends is how I got hooked on One Piece haha. who knew such a light-hearted and comedic anime could have such an emotional episode. lemmingllama
This is exactly why this anime deserves the 500 odd episodes that it has, simply because it is just so good. Just wait, I personally think that it gets much better once another character or two are introduced
lordofelemental
wow, that's good for you! as long as you watch the upcoming arcs in the series, there will alot of things to come.. especially to the things that are really "emotional" which let's one piece far too different from other anime's around there.i'm glad that you continued to watch the series at episode 2, well, i hope that you will also watch the subbed ones after you manage to see the dubbed ones. jobonline20
this is the most awesome anime i have watched, and the emotional scenes are way better than in any other i have seen(haven't seen much anime by the way, but in the some that i have seen). i watch it for the funny scenes/situations though. lordofelemental
^ to the poster above, actually the series Fate Stay Night is also "emotional" for me, it's just way too short! damn!^ Threadstarter,it's only the start, there are lots more to come as you progress to the story.. it's just way too epic, and the story is not all about "fights", there will be always "reason and past" behind it all.glad to have you aboard here in the One Piece thread section
jobonline20
@lord(my lord ): yes F/S night is "emotional" to mee too , i just couldn't let go of the anime, so i put it on hold for the last 4-epsok, so kametsu needs one-piece sub. from the beginning,

If you just want to chat about something that isnt related to the thread, try keeping it to visitor messaging or start a new thread. As for the actual topic, Trend just wait until you meet Sanji, basically adds half of the running jokes for the series

lordofelemental
the english dubs last until 205 (Funimation), but that's not the end of it, if you can manage to watch it until the latest episodes (Japanese w/ subs).. you can appreciate one piece to its fullest.
