Dan Den
I've also watched some of them, it's nice to see a fellow fan of one of the most epic samurai series known as Afro Samurai.Sorry I'll include a picture next time but this should sort of give you an idea of what the series is about and research some more on it.Samurai 7 (Genres: action, adventure, fantasy, science fictionThemes: mecha, samurai ) A small village is being persecuted by robbers who return every harvest to seize the village's crops. Faced with starvation, the villagers send out a mission to find and recruit some samurai to defend them. With no pay to offer except rice, and knowing full well that only down-on-their-luck samurai would even consider accepting such an deal, the villagers can only hope that their saviours will appear before the rice is ready for harvest.Samurai Deeper Kyo (Genres: action, adventure, comedy, supernaturalThemes: historical, ninja, samurai ) In the year 1600, during the battle of Sekigahara, warriors Kyoshiro Mibu and "Demon Eyes" Kyo - the legendary slayer of a thousand men - engaged in fierce combat. Both men disappeared when a meteor crashed in the battlegrounds. Four years later, Kyoshiro is spotted on a rural highway, acting as a traveling medicine salesman. He is captured by the female bounty hunter Yuya Shiina when she discovers that deep inside him is the dormant personality of "Demon Eyes" Kyo himself. Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto (Genres: action, adventure, drama, fantasy, mystery, supernaturalThemes: historical ) The Shogunate is in its final years, and war is fast approaching. When Akizuki Yojiro, a dark and mysterious mercenary, nears something supernatural with some kind of importance to him, the ornament on the end of his sword hilt waves in its direction, his eyes glow mysteriously, and he is driven to go after it. He comes across a traveling theater group who is out for revenge for the killing of the parents of the group's leader, and whose mysterious playwright likes to secretly help along events of history. Yojiro joins them to lend them his skill against their enemies, while dark conspiracy continues to follow behind him. Samurai Gun (Genres: actionThemes: historical, samurai, steam-punk) It is the beginning of the industrial revolution, and feudal Japan is in turmoil. The ruling Shogun are wielding their abusive powers to instill fear and dominance over their oppressed subjects. Beatings, imprisonment, rape and even murder are the adopted tactics chosen to maintain their reign. The bloodshed must end. A group of Samurai have banded together, and, with the development of new weapons and new technology, they have both the will and the hardware to stand up and fight. Ichimatsu is one of these fighters. By day, he works incognito at a local tavern, in the evenings he frequents the brothels, and by the dark of night, he doles out some big-time, gun-barrel justice. He is here to help. He is Samurai Gun. Ghost Slayers Ayashi (Genres: adventure, comedy, drama, supernaturalThemes: historical, superpowers ) Feudal Japan is attacked by beasts called 'Youi'. Ryuudou Yukiatsu, a 'floater' and an employee at a bath house has the power of Ayagami ("The power to find the words behind things") which can be used in fighting against the Youi. That's why the members of a Youi-fighting group Bansha Aratamesho, called the Ayashi, are looking for Yukiatsu - they want him to become an Ayashi as well. Yukiatsu runs into a woman and a son who are chased by a Youi and has to face the past he's been running away from. The Vision of Escaflowne (Genres: adventure, drama, fantasy, romanceThemes: catgirls, love triangle, mecha ) High school student Hitomi is transported from Earth to the magical world of Gaea, where she meets boy prince Van Fanel, and is caught up in his quest to unite the countries of Gaea against the ominous Zaibach empire. On the way, she discovers an hidden ability and strives to unravel layers of mystery surrounding Van, his past, and the giant machine known as Escaflowne. Fushigi Yugi(Genres: adventure, comedy, drama, fantasy, romanceThemes: bishounen, historical, male harem ) Miaka Yuuki, an average middle school student caught up in studying for exams, is sucked into an ancient Chinese novel titled "The Universe of Four Gods". There she discovers that she is in an ancient country in what is now China, Konan, and is to be the Priestess of one of the four gods, Suzaku. As the priestess, her duty is to gather the Seven Seishi of Suzaku, who are to be her protectors. Once they are gathered, the priestess will summon the god Suzaku and bring peace between the warring lands, Konan and Kutou. But it's harder than it seems. Along the road, many hardships are faced, as Miaka's best friend Yui Hongo enters the book and becomes her rival, the priestess of Seiryuu in the land of Kutou. Who summons their god first is up to the courage and skill of the priestesses and their seishi, as they meet triumphs and tragedies along the way. Gun X Sword Genres: action, adventure, drama, science fictionThemes: giant weapons, girls with guns, harem, mecha, revenge, space western ) Armed with a metal sash that straightens into a sword, lanky swordsman Van is traveling through the desert, searching for the mysterious clawed man who killed his bride. Along the way he picks up a fellow traveler: Wendy, a young girl whose town he saves from bandits by summoning a mecha with his sword. Wendy is searching for her missing older brother, whose engraved gun she carries on her back. In their mutual quest they run afoul of more bandits and villains, a mysterious woman named Carmen99, and more mecha battles a la Wild West. Kyoshiro and the Eternal Sky (Genres: action, drama, fantasy, romanceThemes: bishoujo, bishounen, mecha, yuri ) Kuu Shiratori often fantasizes and dreams of her "prince", and longs to meet him as her ordinary school life in the school-city of Academia proceeds. One day, a young man, Kyoshiro Ayanokoji, transfers to her class, and strangely enough, bears a striking resemblence to the prince of her dreams. Kuu is elated, but soon after things start to not go her way, as she soon finds out that Kyoshiro is different from how she imagined him to be. However, after Kyoshiro saves her after she gets caught in the middle of a fight involving mechanical creatures and magic she has never witnessed before, she begins to appreciate him once again, and thus, a beautiful relationship between two young people commences. Dan Den
I didn't like Bleach very much, stopped watching after the Bount Arc.You should try watching the episodes after the Bount arc, allot of people say it was shit even though I enjoyed it but that me. But you should try giving it another chance cause after the Bount arc things got better and better. Koby
I didn't like Bleach very much, stopped watching after the Bount Arc. Good thing I guess. Nothing after the Bount arc was worth much more than just a waste a time. There are a few note worthy fights but most of them were tame especially the conclusion to Aizen. The series is plagued by a terrible writer who cares nothing about the series itself and only of his own pocketbook. He creates new plotholes with every turn of a page. The Bount arc may be filler but it's better than 98% of the canon that has followed it.
