Hey Guys, I'm New Here

Hey everyone,

I'm Beer. I got here via Anime-Anarchy (Koby's sig). I've been into anime casually for 5-ish years, but I've really picked up on it in the past year and a half. I couldn't list a top 5 in order of precedence, but some of my favorites include Ai Yori Aoshi, Azumanga Daioh, the Aria series, the Crest/Banner of the Stars series, and Satoshi Kon's movies.

My computer is old enough that I haven't been able to play any new games for a couple years, but I enjoy a lot of classic RPGs for the SNES and PlayStation 1/2, like Earthbound, Final Fantasy IV-IX and Grandia.

As you might guess from my name, a major hobby is beer. Not just the drinking of it, but the brewing, history and modern innovation of it all interest me. I drink a large variety of styles, everything from super bitter American IPAs to British session beer and stouts to Belgian strong ales and sours.

Anyhow, glad to be here.

Hey Beer, welcome to Kametsu, have a beer and enjoy the company.

I've seen a lot of anime, very few seem to have seem as much as me much less more, but I'm sad to say I haven't seen any of the ones you've listed as your top five favorites. As for the games you enjoy, well I very much like Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VIII, and Final Fantasy IX. I also love the Grandia series although I've only played II, III, and Xtreme. I even made a fansite for the series however time constraints and the lack of wanting to do more work as prevented me from working on it in years. If you've ever searched for Grandia related sites though you likely found it. It's not too popular but that's mostly because the series itself doesn't seem to be that popular and add to the fact the lack of work I've done with the site and advertising it. Check it out sometime though @ http://grandia-online.net

Anyhow, as I said, welcome to Kametsu. Hope you find the company enjoyable and decide to stick around.
