Predaking-117
Gaban is able to deal damage to Sommers and even goes for the head. Chopper comes out of hiding to see how he was able to hurt someone that claims to be immortal. Killingham adds to the fires that are currently burning the books Elbaph has kept safe. Just as Gaban shows up to save the kids, they're understandably happy to see him, especially his son Collun who exclaims as such. Though it gives Gunko an opportunity to hold Collun hostage as his dad then surrenders for his son's safety. Gunko attacks Gaban with her arrows which sends him falling. But it seems Collun calling out for his father triggered a memory in her, which makes her run in Brook's direction before she exudes an ominous aura of wanting to "show the dominance of god." Predaking-117
Imu seems to speak through Gunko as it gives orders to the Holy Knights. Gunko then uses her powers to turn Dorry and Brogy into demonic versions of themselves, along with some other Giants, and gave them orders to kill and destroy. And Jarul refuses to run. Predaking-117
More and more Giants are being turned demonic, Killingham (who now looks more human but as a centaur due to his Devil Fruit) is raising fallen monsters to fight again, and the chaos continues until the Heart of Elbaph breaks. Mr. Ya and Chopper Fall to where Luffy and co are and try to get them up to speed. Seems bad enough they might untie Loki for help.
Predaking-117
Sanji is annoyed he doesn't have Conqueror's Haki but Zoro does. Luffy and Gaban give Zoro some grief for not knowing or controlling it. Then Luffy asks Loki to join the crew, but of course he rejects. And now it's flashback time as to reveal what really happened 14 years ago in Elbaph. But before that, a backstory on Harald and how he made the world afraid of Giants because he went pillaging unopposed. Harald was childhood friends with Dorry and Brogy, and because of his bloodline and noble status was quite a narcissist. Then one day in the New World he met Ida, who was living relatively with humans and making a decent living until Harald came along. Ida knocked some sense and humility into Harald and they eventually hooked up and traveled together. And that changed him to want to build bridges with other races. But after Hajrudin was born, Harald and Ida couldn't marry in order to keep the royal bloodline pure. So instead Harald was betrothed to Estrid, a daughter of a brewer. They got a horse with 8 legs for good luck, among other trinkets to increase luck (or just Estrid wanting more fortune). And when Loki was born, he was thrown into the frozen wilds to die due to Estrid only seeing a demon. All misfortunes that fell on Elbaph in the years that followed were categorized as part of Loki's curse.
Predaking-117
After Loki's birth, things went horribly for Elbaph. From Big Mom's incident, to various civil wars, famines, many more tragedies; all blamed on Loki. At a critical moment, Harald announced that allied countries had banded together to send the Giants much needed food. Estrid passed away, and Loki had his eyes covered at such a young age. Harald still loved him and Hajrudin equally, but of course the brothers didn't get along. As the kids grew older, Loki caused havoc wherever he went, forcing inhabitants to rush into their homes and lock their doors; the local kids of course gave him and his brother a hard time. At one point, Loki lamented that he couldn't die, and in the snowy tundra the Rocks Pirates (or at least the group in their early days) came across him. Led by Rocks D. Xebec himself, apparently the father of Blackbeard, and asked Loki some questions.
Predaking-117
Xebec once defeated an Admiral and infiltrated Imu's inner sanctum but couldn't do anything to them. Xebec described himself as a worshiper of Davy Jones and that he'd be back. And that's how he ran into King Harald, who was at Mariejois for some peace talks but got chased out and framed for abducting 5 kings. He and Xebec then used an attack to hit a town so they wouldn't be enslaved. Rocks continued making a name for himself by hitting tribute ships meant for Celestial Dragons, and using the Davy Back Fight to get powerful members for his crew. And when Rocks hit Loki to make Harald come home, it worked. He offered the Giant King to join the Rocks Pirates and cause chaos and get rich. Harald declined many times, and so Rocks moved forward with an infamous crew to really terrorize the world.
