Funny enough, the new chapter is titled RPG. An inhabitant tries to warn the crew of the local dangers, but of course Luffy and Zoro smell adventure instead and go towards the danger. They do find Chopper as they broke the horizon/went through the looking glass, but no sign of the others yet. Then the Giant who may or may not be this world's equivalent of Baba Yaga walks in and sets just about everything on fire due to how mad she is at seeing her toys, pets, and whatnot get wrecked. And the Straw Hats understandably run away.

The Thousand Sunny turns out to have been scooped by a giant eagle, one owned by a giant who works under Hajrudin. And this so-called Sun God decided to have some fun with the Straw Hats. Of course things go horribly wrong. Nami and Zeus are able to stun their captor, and letting Luffy punching an actual exit out for them.

Robin, Franky, Brook, and Jinbei are still with the rest of the Giant Pirates and so decide to go on to Elbaph where they reason they'll link up with the rest of their crew eventually. Meanwhile, Luffy and co. come across a castle and head towards it. And while Robin reads about recent events as prevented in the newspaper, she and the other Straw Hats are told of trouble that happened in Elbaph while Dorry and Broggy were away. Seems even in other universes, beings named Loki cause lots of mischief. Here in OP, Loki was like Blackbeard in that he killed someone to get a specific Devil Fruit (in this case his own dad, King Harald), and that him being unleashed will bring ruin. Hence Luffy coming across Loki blindfolded and chained to what may or may not resemble Yggdrasil. Though Loki says the place is War-Land, home of Elbaph's warriors, and that he is the sun god who'll bring down the world.

And now the OP manga will go on break for the next 2 weeks.

Luffy talks to Loki, who bad mouths Shanks and of course Luffy retaliates. Not to mention Luffy befriends some beats that inhabit the forest they're currently in. Hajrudin himself went hunting while his crew are holding the Sunny. And Robin went back to her pre-timeskip hairstyle so Saul recognizes her... and we find out he's fallen and can't get up.

OP will be on break for another week due to Oda's health problems.

So we see Elbaph is divided into 3 parts, where Luffy saw Loki (who told Luffy to not tell anyone they met) was the in their underworld, the middle part is Sun World which is where most Giants live, and the top is Astral World. Also it's possible to ride rainbows here (makes sense), Rodo gets his comeuppance, the Straw Hats all reunite, and ominous narration says to not overstay your welcome in Elbaph. Oh boy.

Saul meets the rest of the Straw Hats (who promise to protect Robin as long as they live). Lilith had smuggled a cloning machine that should recreate the Vegapunk that visited Elbaph 20 years ago. Saul's assistant Ange shows some of the Straw Hats around the best school and library, where the latter is where she works. The Walrus School is where the children learn and are also taught by Ripley, a beautiful biology teacher. Ripley is among the last generation of warriors, which is funny since the last king Harald decreed the giants not to go to war but to trade with other countries. Though such peaceful reforms were cut short when Loki killed his dad. The Great Owl Library hosts much knowledge, including all the books saved from Ohara's burning. And as Loki talked to someone one a snow proof transponder snail, two mysterious figures appear in the castle; one whom may or may not be Shanks.

The Straw Hats enjoy the party and get to know their giant hosts. Usopp telling tall tales, Sanji showing his admiration for such tall ladies, the works. And Rodo seems to be a sub that has for the time being become a new helper for Nami as payback for what he did to most of the SH crew. A brawl breaks out over what Nika the Sun God represents since no giant now can properly translate the old texts anymore, and how Loki killing his dad was an attempt at being Nika. And it seems the Holy Knights are here as well, cutting a deal with Loki who wants to watch the world burn.

Rodo takes Luffy, Zoro, and Nami into the abandoned castle as they see the aftermath of Harald and Loki's fight. We even see a portrait of Harald, who used to have big horns (which were indications of ancient giant bloodlines) but removed them in order to better relations between Giants and the rest of the world. Rodo joined up with Hajrudin who asked him to be his friend and because Rodo can draw sea charts. Not to mention Hajrudin is Loki's half-brother and Harald's son from a previous marriage, and has a goal of uniting all giants and being the Giant King. Meanwhile Loki gets beaten up to join the Holy Knights or die. One of his attackers is a woman named Gunko who are the Arrow-Arrow Fruit. The other is a guy who looks like Shanks but is actually named Shamrock, is the son of St. Garling, and declares that the Giants, who conquered the New World long ago, will be brought under command of the World Government.

So turns out Shanks is Shamrock's estranged younger twin brother. The latter unleashes Cerberus upon Loki to torture some more or possibly kill while the two Knights leave for the Giants' children. Franky goes and sees where the Jewel Adam wood comes from and stumbles upon an ominous mural. Saul shows Robin the Harley, which has much of Elbaph's mythology written in it and hence the Giants have many interpretations of those tales. The mural Franky sees is a story about three worlds of certain people who will never meet. Until the third one, where the sun god guides the world to its end.

Luffy and co happen upon the throne room of the castle and meet a former pirate named Mr. Ya, who so happens to be Ripley's husband and they have a son named Collun. Ya claims to be a preacher of love, apparently liking many kinds of things such as trouble. Turns out Mr. Ya is actually Scopper Gaban, the former left arm of Pirate King Gold Roger. And if he's guarding Loki's key, it's with good reason.

Gaban gets some good hits on Luffy, and Zoro steps in to assist his Captain. Just after Luffy went Gear 5, Scopper gives up Loki's key and tells the Straw Hats to visit him before leaving Elbaph if it still stands. Gunko summons another knight (St. Killingham) to assist in hers and Shamrock's mission, but also inadvertently get another one who was in his living room (St. Sommers). Then Shamrock says Sommers and Killingham can make a game out of kidnapping some Giant kids.

A drunk Usopp is quite a party animal as he smacks the sword embedded in King Jarul's head and laughs it off. And Luffy's plan to free Loki has been found out - at least when Gerd got Rodo to fess up and Hajrudin and his crew try to stop Luffy from doing so. Even then, with all his own reservations, Zoro helps his captain unlock Loki's cuffs save for one on one of his legs. And Loki gets up to fulfill his glorious purpose. If there's an item named "Ragnir," I won't be surprised if there's also one named "Rok" or something similar.

No thanks to the Holy Knights, nightmares of the Giant children, among others, ran amok in Elbaph as said children are also sleepwalking to their doom/kidnappers. Of course, no surprise Saul knows Haki since he was in the Navy as he and the other teachers defend the kids. Luffy and those with him can't help but stare as Loki sets the big tree ablaze. And Gunko admits she's afraid of Nikka. Guess her nightmare may come true sooner than expected.

Rather than snails, the Giants use Transponder pill bugs (which only work on Elbpah) to communicate, and they happen to have firefighters as well. They didn't last long and were swatted by an imaginary skeleton. Sommers has the Thorn-Thorn Fruit, hence why that one teacher got bloodied up, while Killingham ate a Dragon-Dragon Fruit that can manifest dreams. Luffy and Loki were betting on taking each other down in one move, but the latter was indeed at death's door and collapsed. Loki lies on the ground once more as he asks Hajrudin if he believes the story of their dad being killed with murderous intent.

Franky is shown a building which looks like the remains of an ancient robot, and it's where Lilith and Bonney are... because they got lost. Then they get attacked by a lightning monster. Brook sees a dream monster Draugr that sorta looks like him and of course he's offended. Collun takes some of the Straw Hats with him to fight. Saul keeps trying anything to keep the sleepwalking kids safe and from leaving. And Dorry and Broggy show up after a bathroom break and with Mr. Ya in tow.

There's a talking shield named Nash who's being used by Hajrudin's crew when one of their members had a dad try to vanquish Big Mom a while back. Luffy is told about the Holy Knights and tries to help Loki recover. The latter is clearly unamused but of course someone like Gerd is reveling in all this. Loki also says he met and admired Whitebeard when he was kid and got his ass kicked. Jinbei helps the firefighters put out fires, then Junko appears on the boat Nami's group is in.

Gunko redirects everything Nami's group throws at her. Even when seemingly disintegrated, she regenerates and explains that a bigger war is coming and whichever side the Giants go with will have a profound outcome. Hence the taking of Elbaph children to force their race to work for the World Government. Killingham subdues the faculty, while Soomers is already dealing with Saul (who's trying to hide Robin and Chopper in his hair for the time being). Sommers is mad that King Harald changed the Giants' ways of being warriors to try being more peace loving.

Gunko rangles in Nami's group and tries to make Brook her slave since she likes his music. Sommers makes an announcement to Elbaph to make the Giants surrender or their children suffer. Seems even the nightmares of the adult Giants are coming true and are hindering their efforts to save the kids and fend off the intruders. Jarul is then told to make a decision to stand down and have the Giants be slaves or else, but Robin and Mr. Ya are clearly not going to let this slide.

One of the Giant kids, Ronja, is about to be made an example of until the rest of the Giants burn their library and surrender. Robin makes her move and does damage Sommers, but of course he heals quickly... until Robin essentially sends him plummeting by using a flower clone. Though Sommers uses his vine whip to stop his fall and pull himself up. And just as he ties up Robin, Scobber Gaban swings in and cuts off a limb off Sommers.
