I don't think I could ever get tired of these series. However, I wasn't too thrilled when Cartoon Network kept replaying the same saga of Dragon Ball Z over and over. shadowtheman Posted November 17, 2011 Report Share Posted November 17, 2011 The golden age of the unlicensed vhs. Those were the days. Darn now you made me feel old. Rocks back and forth in chair. I remember the days, we didn't have the net or dvd. We watched stuff on megnetic strips called tapes. There was little anime that was meant for proper release most of it was nabbed then subbed on a machine two times larger than a calico vision. Back then Robotech, green legend ran, Tenchi muyo, were my faves. Not to mention demon city Shinjuku and the first Dominion tank police. These are animes I watch for the sake of nostalgia. I'll never get sick of them. And for you wipper snappers out there, a calico vision was one of the original rivals for atari. They are both anime that I was addicted to as a kid and actually they were the two that got me back into anime about a year ago now, wow how time has passed since my younger days =).
