Dartril Posted November 1, 2011 Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 I have been reading some reports on a Dragon Age 3 being made, personally I think its a good idea. I found the stories and length with Origins very much to my liking, where as the combat system in Dragon Age 2 was more exciting and fun, and the character interaction, Friendship/rivalry system and development was much better in 2. I've played about 200 hours in Origins, and am just about to finish 2 for the first time, and will play both again.From what I have read the intention of Bioware is to combine the good aspects of both games, which I assume and hope is what I listed above. And as that they have said that it could have multiple countries in it, The Free Marches, Feralden and Orlais. But it is only rumor so far, with nothing confirmed. So I thought I'd post this here in the hopes of having a discussion of what would be good if they make one, or if it would be good to even make another. And to post news as I hear it. I loved Origins, and dragon age 2 (despite its many short comings in the enviroment area...:/) so if they do what they're doing with ME3, taking the best of both and making it better, then it should be a good game.The story is what interests me in RPG and dragon age has always had a nice and convulted one. I wanna see the Hero and the Champion (Origins and 2's playables) meet up somewhere and cause mayhem. Maybe another Blight, or double blight(?) Heck, a tevinter invasion would be pretty good as well, but with the events in 2 i think civil war would probably be the story... we'll have to see Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dartril Posted December 6, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 6, 2011 @mr. granite Acording to lore, there were only 7 old gods, and the blight that was in dragon age 1 was the fifth god. so a double blight while awesome, would also be an end to the darkspawn, and I dont think they want to do that. What I think they are planning, is to base the third game on the seekers, trying to fix the damage the warden and the champion started. in which they will probably just end up adding to. gatsu26 Posted December 6, 2011 Report Share Posted December 6, 2011 I played dragon age 2 first and than 1. Both games I've played during a HURRICAN!! 24/7 and til I died. And I would love a part 3. The idea of combining them both sounds AMAZING!! I know they wanted that but I'm just scared cuz Bioware doesn't like doing triligies. o3o Save us if they even THINK about cancelling this game. rmyd027 Posted December 13, 2011 Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 I can see this maybe being delayed and some spinoff game comes out to either Origins or 2, like a few other big franchises have done (Assassins Creed with brotherhood and Revelations... supposed to be a trilogy but they have yet to actually make Assassins Creed "3", although it technically didnt happen before the end of the trilogy, Halo 3 ODST aswell which wasnt apart of the original trilogy). I Would be interested to see what happened to Morgan and the main Character from Origins after the DLC pack "Witch Hunt" which my guy went through the mirror with her.
