† cloud1414
At the end of a rather routine TV Guide interview with James Marsters (Piccolo) on April 6th, it was revealed by the host that Justin Chatwin (Goku) had said the sequel to Dragonball: Evolution was recently green-lit.If that’s true, it’s somewhat of a surprise the studio hasn’t decided to wait until after the movie premieres in North America. But, with the newly confirmed budget of $50 million and *SPOILER* a cliffhanger at the end of Evolution, it’s not impossible.Watch at 4:30 mark.dXmiMG1XVtoSource: DBMovie.com
Josh.14
The epic failure Evolution was should motivate them to do a better job on the sequel.
Koby
I watched Dragonball Evolution a few weeks back.. and I didn't much care for it.Too much was changed including characters attitudes, back stories, etc..
Jerck
It's bad when they're planning a sequel and I already think they should be doing a reboot.
† ballard
Another one? Lets just hope that it's better than the first >.<...
† cloud1414
Yeah but hell, they could make the other movies better if they get a new director and cast. Lets just keep our fingers crossed.
† ballard
Ya lol... considering the first one wasn't so great it should be easy to make this one better lol. XD
Koby
They couldn't do a good DBZ movie.. so they went to the extreme opposite and made it as bad as it could have possibly been. If they wanted to make it good, they should have at least kept character personalities the same, not fucked with the Kamehameha, among other things. If they wanted an original story... instead of starting the series over and changing shit.. they could have kept it the same and just made a new side story. No need to screw over and change everything that made Dragonball good to start with. After the failure of the first, which was expected. I'm most likely not even going to bother with the sequel, even if fans scream its the best thing ever, which is never gonna happen.
† ballard
Good points. I might watch it just to see how it turned out... even though it will be just as bad as the first .

Koby
Thats why never bought the dvd or went to see it in theaters lol. Everyone wants to make a live action movie out of everything.Yeah they are working on: Bleach live-action, Naruto live-action, Cowboy Bebop live-action, Gintama live-action, and Hollywood is now doing a live-action Death Note film. Might be others but.. these are just the ones I remember.. and I expect them all to be bad.Well the Cowboy Bebop might not be as bad considering the people supposedly playing in it.. and the theme is similar in some ways to some sci-fi Hollywood films.. so it'd be less of a stretch to see it do decently.. then say something as impossible as Dragon Ball. >_<
Hamachi
live-action Death Note film. NO NO NO NO! Disney should burn in hell for this! They're casting ZAC EFRON as LIGHT YAGAMI! This is going to suck more than Dragonball Evolution.
