xNoName
Unless you've been living under a rock or somethin', you'd know about this. It was a big incident and here in India too, Slut walks were on. For more information, check this article out. So, what are your opinions on it? Mine? Well, it's quite funny; you have to agree on that. Well of course, short skirts and bikini tops don't justify rape. It's good that they're mutinying against the damn thing, but still... I think all this "Slut walk" is missing the point. I mean, let's assume that women are given the right to dress like hotties, if they so desire. That they own the the right to caper in public all day, dressed like that. Now then, let's turn it around and also grant men the right to do whatever they feel is good, display pornographic images wherever and whenever they please – at home, work, public places – because, well, we enjoy looking at them. Now, don't we? But tell me something, Just how long will it take till the ladies start complaining? So, what I'm saying is that women sure have the right to sexualize the environment if they feel like it, but the men around them are prevented to do anything of this kind – for the fear of being dismissed as Neanderthalians and being hit with a sexual harassment action for good measure. So, the moral of the story is – No one is denying women the right to dress anyway they feel, But if you dress to be noticed, then please don't complain when you are getting noticed. If you dress to attract attention, then you must be conciliated to the fact that you can't control what kind of attention you might attract. Sure, None of this can't be justified for rape – but yes, freedom does come with responsibility. I'm not being a feminist of any kind, I'm just showing the other way round. Max465
Unless you've been living under a rock or somethin', you'd know about this.Yep, that was a mighty fine rock I was under. I was pretending to be a hermit crab for 4 months. XDI have to pretty much agree with your opinion on this. Women can dress how they want, but if they do so, they need to accept the consequences. Men on the other hand, need to understand that while women dress this way, it's okay to look, not touch. If they touch, they too need to accept the consequences. seirachan
Huh I live under a rock too, I really didn't feel like reading that all but this whole slut walk thing is pretty dumb. I don't mind dressing up every once in awhile, hell I like dressing up(never get a chance to Q.Q). But I don't dress slutty and I only dress up for boys I like or the occasion calls for it. If I walked around with my panties showing I know some assholes gonna try to rape me or have his way with me. This just seems like another "women's rights" thing, where girls wanna do anything they want with no problems. Well I guess once I dressed up slutty but I was only trying to impress a boy and we didn't walk around in pubic, just went to his place and hung out for a bit. Nothing happened! lol. But if I do dress slutty it's kept private, I don't go out like that.I love my Scottish skirt, with fish neat stockings, and black T-shit *Moe Face* : D

Catwoman
It doesn't matter if you dress in little clothing or not. If you look damn good, others will notice. And everyone wants to dress nice because it then makes them feel good.To have others ruin that or make you doubt giving yourself a bit of confidence is stupid.Just be aware of things and if you feel it may lead to something, don't hang around alone or out of sight. † Mute point
Much like the Salt Lake underwear run... I don't get what they're trying to do here. I mean, I understand saying that we can dress however we want and shouldn't have to worry about what men, or even other women might do or say about it. But saying it, and gathering as many half naked women as you can into one place to yell it to the world is completely different.I personally dress however I want to, with some consideration for Mal of course. Usually when I go out I'm a bit more conservative in my dress than others, not because I am conservative, but because I also go for clothes I can move freely in. Properly fitting shirts rather than overly tight "LOOK AT MY TITS!" shirts. Pants that do a decent job of showing off my backside without making it too obvious. If I had them I would totally go out in combat boots, but since I don't, I lean toward black hiking boots. They might not be all that sexy, but they are great for kicking ass in if necessary.Bottom line, dress however you're comfortable dressing. Just be prepared for what may happen, or what may be said. If people calling you names makes you cry, you're not tough enough to dress sexy, go put on one of those flowy robe things
