Is "Lucky star" any good?

If you expect any engaging story, then turn away. But it's basically like a sitcom, it's just plain fun and even a little nostalgic. There's also some nice subliminal undertones that give it a kinda spice for when you were just about to think this was an innocent series. XD

No, no, no, no, no.

It went on far too long, was generally pointless, and all the "fanservice elements" were hugely over-rated. It's OK....but nothing more than that...if you watch two or three episodes you've essentially seen all of them, and gah, the Lucky Channel ending sections were tedious.....

Lucky Channel, I thought, is what kept the whole series together. :P Honestly, though, you'd have better luck at finding humor in Squid Girl instead :P

Its pretty good, but some of the jokes about otaku and other anime references may be too over the top for the casual viewer. But I still enjoyed it. Plus they had one of my favorite English VA in it, Kari Wahlgren. Admittedly, I found the first episode kinda weak, but after a few episodes in I started liking it more. Of course, I'm a big fan of the comedy/slice of life series too.
