vevlaa
If it can be counted in, I'd say The Lord of the Rings pretty easily. but this might have something to do with me being a huge Tolkien fan xD

MABFanForLife
I gotta go with The Lord Of The Rings as well. Amazing story, amazing score, the casting was perfect, it looks absolutely amazing. I'm only hoping The Hobbit will be just as good.

lars35
Would Star Wars be considered fantasy? I know people tend to lump sci-fi and fantasy together but that always bothers me. I would classify Star Wars as sci-fi personally. To me Lord of The Rings falls more into the fantasy category.

Kasoivc
Princess Bride. (1987). Probably most of the female regulars of Kametsu know what I'm talking about~ The movie came before I was even born lol.
The Welsh Paddy
If the Planet of the Apes movies count, then it would definitely be them. The original movies seemed to lean more towards fantasy, as did the Tim Burton remake. If yer not happy with that choice, then it would have to be Pan's Labarynth. Guillermo del Toro is an amazing director, I think. His film Cronos is also excellent.

Ashanel
Avatar - The blue people not the air bender Gotta say I'm looking forward to them making more movies as visually appealing as that one was. As far as the story line - Great, but not the best

Kasoivc
Princess Bride would have to be my favorite movie of all time. xD it's on a level of comedy that is really hard to get to now days. All the films now think they have to be crude, rude, and perverted to be funny.
JCBeezy
I love the Princess Bride. The comedy has held up well enough that I enjoy it more than 95% of current comedies. Also worth note is that I don't like a lot of fantasy stuff outside of literature. lol
Dan Den
Avatar(James Cameron) - This movie was great from a to z it was something different you haven't seen in a while, I loved it so much that I watched it five time at the cinema.Harry Potter series - This has got to be the greatest magic related series to be created so far. I just can't get enough of it but sadly it has ended so to save my self the depression I haven't watched the last two movies yet, just trying to savor the experience.
