Ed's weakness is being called short which angers him. Death's weakness is anything not symmetrical which puts him in a rather paralyzed type state. Ed is definitely not symmetrical since his right arm and left leg are automail, so the very sight of Ed would render Death the Kid nearly comatose. If you ignore such a fact though and they fought I think magic vs. pistols that can turn into girls, would leave Edward with the advantage. Koby Posted December 9, 2011 Report Share Posted December 9, 2011 Actually, he isnt rendered comatose since sometimes he wants to obliterate the non-symmetry. So Kid would want to destroy Ed like no tommorow. Then let us look at the fact that Ed doesnt use any kind of range and the fact that Kid can fly. So Kid could simply stay out of range and shoot anything that moves. It also helps that Kid is a reaper and as such he can simply snuff out human lives.The majority of the time he would fall on the ground and be rendered unmovable. There was only like one or two times he actually was mad enough about it that he fought back. He was never shown to be able to 'reap' people so perhaps that ability is something he only gets whenever he takes his fathers role. Ed can easily use Alchemy to allow himself to grow a mountain up to Death the Kid or make false wings to fly as well, or even a giant hand to swat Death the Kid out of the sky. Kaeldri Posted December 9, 2011 Report Share Posted December 9, 2011 Such an odd showdown...It's rather hard to say, and it depends on which Kid and Ed you are talking about too; Manga Kid/Anime Kid or Brotherhood Ed/Original series Ed. I personally think that manga Kid would win over either Ed; but either Edward could beat anime Kid. In either case, it would be a very close fight...Though it would be very epic! Emblem810 Posted December 10, 2011 Report Share Posted December 10, 2011 If Kid can't stand Unsymmetrical things all ed has to do is make a room full of unsymmetrical items. either kid will breakdown into a comatose, or have to destroy everything unsymmetrical in the room leaving a chance for ed to finish the job.
