allajosh
i think the Original Zelda is the best because why would you want to get rid of classics with Nintendo
darkdragon
I find that the 3DS version is a more "polished version" of the original N64 Zelda Orcarina of Time. The change in how you equip items I don't really care for. I also don't like the fact that they have the " hint stones" in the new verison, as a child, getting stuck was half the fun, but overall, I really like the 3DS verison better, the graphics are cleaner, smoother, and plus its portable I still play the old version, the game itself is phenomenal, by far my favorite childhood game. I liked the 3ds version but prefer using the N64 controller since I have big hands and the 3ds gets uncomfortable to hold at times.@reinokid : I have tiny hands, and I still find it a little awkward with the 3DS, it takes some getting used to~!I really hope that they come out with a Majora's Mask version for the 3DS *crosses fingers* :
Seiji
I think the 3DS version is the better version. Even though I am nostalgic for the original version, I find the primitive graphics to be an eye soar.
Gero50
I honestly do not like one more then the other. I have played the 64 version though, and rather enjoyed it. I don't have a 3DS so I haven't played the 3D Zelda. I would like to very much though.
killerimpact
3ds all the way i mean look at the graphics
igride
I loved Ocarina and Majora's Mask on the N64 but I admit the 3DS edition of Ocarina is the superior one. Nostalgia has its place and I still find the N64 edition of Ocarina to be a completely playable game, but there's a lot of improvements in teh 3DS edition. For example, aiming is much better with a combination of the circle pad and the gyro controls. Use the circle pad to get near your target then use the gyro controls to fine tune the shot. Iron boots are a toggle item like they were in Wind Waker which makes them much better as well. Plus it has the mirrored Master Quest built in.
firealchemist
3DS mainly cuz it contains master quest and updated graphics and higher resolution.
sail0remily
The graphics are awesome but I will always be a huge fan of the N64 version for nostalgia purposes c:But I also love the N64 because my hands are big and the 3DS is kind of tiny. Also, agreed with @zachamawazit I want to see the moon so bad! It was the face of my nightmares for years
sellersdq
The only real difference is the graphics and master quest. It shouldn't be THAT much of a difference. But if you're asking this to a newer generation kid the answer would probably be the 3ds one. Personally N64 all the way. Mostly cuz of the memories that come along with it. nastroma
I grew up on the N64 and zelda i played a little bit on the 3ds but i find it too easy to kill bosses but than again experience on how to beat them is an added bonus
Locogato
I think some of the aiming controls on the 3DS make me prefer the N64 but other than that the 3DS does offer more with graphics and the added master quest after you beat the game. thong1995
I got the 3DS version but not the original but i reckon 3DS version has better graphics
Phazon_Ender
Well of course the graphics are better on the 3DS verion, but that's not what's important. The important thing is that the controls are greatly improved and the 3D effect is well implemtented, the game is definately worth picking up. johnintendo
Without a doubt. The textures, the frame rate, the fact that it is on a portable console (a big plus in my eyes). Also who can argue with a Master-quest to try after you complete the regular game.I must try to complete the Master-quest actually, things are good bit harder than the regular quest. It's also amazing how one gets used to the way levels are layed out, one of the early mistakes in starting Master-quest is to head in the wrong direction in areas you know as everything is mirrored. Is it just me or was it harder to win Epona in the original? I breezed through it on my first attempt in this version.
misdreavus
I only played the 64 version on Project 64, not on the actual console, so in my opinion the 3DS one is better. Then again, with Project 64 I can reload states whenever I screw something up completely, but that sort of defeats the purpose of the game. Gero50
I have only played the N64 version, but from what I have seen of the 3DS version I like it quite a bit. I don't know which one I can say I like more though since I have yet to try the 3DS version.
KabuSaku
They're both the same game, just better lighting and graphics. Personally, while I like the updated graphics in the 3DS version, the lighting seemed to detract from the atmosphere, especially during some of the creepier moments of the game. Green Dragoon
I believe it is the same thing, except it has 3D in it.
LinkSmash
Yeah, both games are the same except with slightly better graphics and inclusion of 3D. Thing is, I'd rather play on a big screen than a 3DS one and plus, controls are better on an N64. The 3DS one, buttons too closeeeeeee
Dr-Love55
same game so couldn't say one is better
