Yu-Gi-Oh! - Rate this Deck

So, I've been playing a Yu-Gi-Oh! video game lately and there's this AI opponent on it who uses really annoying cards that made my latest deck obsolete.

For those who have seen 5D's till Episode 90,

It was one of those Machine Emperor Wisels which if destroyed by a card effect would summon 5 new monsters in it's place. My opponent kept using trap and spell cards to destroy it himself and then take over the Synchro monster I had newly summoned.

Therefore, to counter this, I decided to make a new deck that was completely Synchro free. I based it off Chazz's Level Dragon Deck from GX and I'm rather pleased with the way it's turned out. I was able to beat my opponent in a mere 12 turns and haven't lost a single duel with it yet.

What do you think of it :-

Total Cards : 43

Monster Cards

Armed Dragon Lv 3 x 3

Armed Dragon Lv 5 x 3

Armed Dragon Lv 7 x 2

Armed Dragon Lv 10 x 2

Flying Kamakiri x 3

Masked Dragon x 3

Morphing Jar

Sangan

Spell Cards

Brain Control

Creature Swap x 2

Giant Trunade

Heavy Storm

Level Down!?

Level Up! x 2

Monster Reborn

My Body As A Shield x 2

Mystical Space Typhoon

Pot of Avarice x 2

Premature Burial

Shrink x 2

Stamping Destruction x 3

Swords of Revealing Light

Trap Cards

Inter-dimensional Matter Transporter x 2

Mirror Force

Torrential Tribute

What I'd like to know is what kind of strategy you'd use against a Deck like this so I can prepare for all possible battles.

And if there are some flaws in this one, how would you fix them?

All right, I have SEVERAL things to say about this. First and foremost, it's impossible to rate a deck without seeing it in action first, and the best way to see said deck in action is to either witness you dueling with it or to face you myself. Second, it's not a good idea to make a deck with countering a specific strategy in mind. If your opponent goes anti-you, you should do something that's not what they'd expect, and if you can do it with the same cards you normally use, then that makes it that much better since you show your versitility. Don't get me wrong, I like having multiple decks and am in no way against using a new one, but having something to counter new stuff and saying that your deck is "obsolete" isn't necessarily correct. No cards are obsolete. I know a guy that still has the ability to pwn me and the "latest" cards he's got are from the GX era and there's only about five or six of them. Not to mention he's got a fairly large deck and his best monster is Relinquished, and the monster he's got that boasts the most ATK power is Summoned Skull. Yet he's still able to beat me and my swarm of Synchro monsters. You can't count your deck out just cause one guy keeps beating you with newer cards. If all else fails, come up with new ways of using what you've got.

By the way from a list standpoint the deck looks DECENT, but if you put too much focus into the Armed Dragon strategy it could go south, especially if your opponent likes stuff like Prohibition. You may want to cut back on the number of each Armed Dragon you have and focus on something a bit more diverse.

Oh, also, if you wanna go by the limited/forbidden list, you have quite a few that got hit with the banstick in there.

Sorry, I only use the video games as practice fodder so that i can improve my overall skills at the game. You wanted me to rate a deck I stated how possible it is to rate said deck and gave a little bit of advice regarding it. You didn't have to be an ass about it, I was just being honest. I just happen to play the real game with real cards and real opponents more often than not.

Whatever, anyways for serious duelists, I've found a bunch of problems with it, one being that there's a higher chance that you may begin with a bunch of spell/trap cards and not be able to defend yourself (unless you draw Mirror Force or Torrential Tribute)

I also think it might be a good idea if I removed one of the Lv 10 Dragons since they're Special Summon only and can come straight out of the Deck. Plus, with Monster Reborn, I don't think i'll really NEED two of those.

I was under the impression lvl 10 is unable to be brought back by Monster Reborn due to how it's effect is stated. 'It may only be special summoned through use of lvl 7' or whatever.

Anyways honestly I have an Armed Dragon deck in real life and I never noticed much need of a level 10. Level 7 is strong enough and it usually took more than enough time to bring out. If you need more attack power you can add spell cards to do so. So I'd probably take both the level 10's out.

Monster Cards

Armed Dragon Lv 3 x 3

Armed Dragon Lv 5 x 3

Armed Dragon Lv 7 x 3

Flying Kamakiri x 3

Masked Dragon x 3

Morphing Jar

Sangan

Luster Dragon x3

Twin-Headed Behemoth x2

Mirage Dragon x2

Spell Cards

Brain Control

Creature Swap

Giant Trunade

Heavy Storm

Level Up! x 3

Level Modulation

The Graveyard in the Fourth Dimension x2

Monster Reborn

Mystical Space Typhoon

Pot of Avarice

Premature Burial

Stamping Destruction x 3

Swords of Revealing Light

Rising Air Current

Axe of Despair

Trap Cards

Interdimensional Matter Transporter

Mirror Force

Dragon's Rage x2

Call of the Haunted

Burst Breath

Didn't really work out the kinks or spend much time on this.. but I did add/remove a couple cards. Current count is 50 cards, but I know there is more edits I'd do and I've been out of this for a while so not sure what is forbidden or limited with the current rules.

These look like really good modifications, Koby.

Earlier, the only monsters I had other than the Level ones were monsters that when destroyed by battles would Special Summon others for Tributing.

Luster and Mirage ought to help put the pressure on opponents. I'll try using this modified deck and see if i can reduced the "Turns to Win" average. Thanks mate.

Perhaps I'll elaborate more on edits later, but perhaps a dragon's mirror to summon out Five God Dragon (or Five Headed Dragon if you want to be technical) if you find yourself with a lot of dragons in the grave. May or maynot be something you'd want to look into, just a thought. Also I agree with the suggestion of Mirage Dragon as it keeps those pesky traps out of the way during battle.

Edit: BTW what game is this for, Tag Force 5?
