It has the normal 3D linear fighting style as well as an arieal battle between gaara and deidara and giant battles such as sasuke and Itachi's susanoo and jiraiya vs pain's summonings. The fighting systems was fast and animation was fluid, but what surprised me most was it lent itself to varied playstyles. It wasn't like DBZ games where you can either combo a person or spam beam attacks, you could continuously dodge and throw shurikens for long range battle, use chakra dash to try and use combo mixed with ninjutsu, spam ninjutsu and support, use support to set up combos, wait till you can use Ultimate Jutsus or pick a character that tranforms into a giant form.Plus there always seems to be players online which is a plus. I'm an Anbu Black Ops Leader, or something like that, on online at the moment. One thing I wish it had was the jutsu clashes like in the first one. In ranked you get a lot of dirty tactics like spammers and what not but when you play against decent people you can have a lot of fun.Since PSN was down I replayed the story and it was really hard a second time through, so many cutscenes, so much running and so much loading. Obviously the best thing about the game is the online/epic boss battles.It is a lot better than NUNS1 but at the same time it isn't perfect. Hopefully for NUNS3 they can add more boss battles and more diverse characters.Overall I would give NUNS2 8/10 since the graphics are amazing/sound is stellar while the campaign is lackluster other than the epic boss battles which are a tad too easy.
