Shima_XIX
Mine was Serial Experiments Lain. Found it by accident when I'd run out of things to watch. It had me hooked from the first episode, so I guess it's also what pulled me into the medium to begin with.
wieselmax
A tough one but I think it was Pokemon :-)

Muted_NOPE
I think Death note really drew me in to watching anime.

*Liz*
The one and only DBZ! ... It's still awesome to this very day. If you didn't watch DBZ as a kid you were missing out big time
chin-ko-chan
Samurai Champloo. I found this series by accident, and fell in love with it. It's still one of my favorites.

deanzel
Dragon Ball Z on cartoon network back in the day. Instantly addicted. Who knew that watching one episode a day where Saiyans are screaming and powering up for 90% of the episode didn't drive me nuts back in the day. LTJG RIO
Speed Racer at a buddies house. I didn't know it was an anime at the time, back then everything was just a cartoon. I was like 6 and the whole car with all these abilities just roped me right in Also it was violent and awesome because, Speed knew kung fu, all the bad guys used real guns, and it was just generally violent they never just raced. To this day Speed Racer still holds a special place in my heart. It's very corny and the dialog is hilarious but that doesn't make the show any less enjoyable.

nomadhooker
My first was either Star Blazers or Battle of the Planets. Didn't know they were anime, but they definately got me hooked.  Speed racer was an early one too. That was long enough ago I really don't remember which came first, but Star Blazers was definately my favorite! smoha96
Do the ones you watch as a kid count? For me it'd probably be Pokemon or Yugioh.
