Which RPG Battle System do you prefer?

i never really like turn-based games...i personally prefer the battle systems in the Tales games, although i forget what they're called

Tactical/Strategy based here. More things to do and keep track of. And additional ways to dish out pain.

I prefer turn based. The only action based system I ever used was kingdom hearts and although I liked the game, I didn't like the action based style too much. It wasn't terrible though.

I prefer a system like in the Tales of games, and i can't really handle tactical based the only one i put up with was Luminous Arc

I personally like the both turn based and tactical based RPG's because I grew up playing the Fire Emblem Series and other GBA RPG games which are usually turn based like Advance Wars, Onimusha Tactics and FFTactics. The only downside of this RPG type is that the AI, usually takes a lot of time to make a move but still, it's fun to see that your plan succeeds hahaha!

man i used to play FFT in Psone for hours and hours, i still hooked up so much that i downloaded the ps3 version!

but i like others types as well, FFXIII and Valkyria Chronicles are very good games as well!
