jack3 Posted September 9, 2017 Report Share Posted September 9, 2017 Hey guys this is my first post and I was wondering what you think of the Original Hunter x Hunter vs the 2011 Reboot? Obviously the reboot is longer and follow the manga more which is a huge upside, also they cut out alot of unnecessary stuff, which made it move almost too quickly through the arcs but is not necessarily a bad thing either. I really like them both and I think I can appreciate the reboot more as someone who has seen the original multiple times and read the manga. ragnawind Posted October 30, 2017 Report Share Posted October 30, 2017 `I haven't seen much of the original, but I prefer the 2011 version, and I am so far on Episode 71 of the 2011 version as it airs on Toonami each week, aside from when they have marathons like this last weekend. It's darker, gives the characters more development early on with "filler that actually benefits the show", better art shading that gives the show more feeling of tension and depth, better soundtrack with more diverse background music and classic OP. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
