Anyone know why dvd extras are never licensed and dubbed?

It's all about cost. While it may or may not cost "much" more to get them; that is still an additional cost that they won't see any additional return for as it'd still be bundled and packaged with the season sets at the same price either way. Typically it seems the extras would require a seperate license than the show itself so most of the time they just don't even bother with it.

I figured the extra content would translate into higher sales. That is why those extras are in there in the first place.  Needing to license the extras separately does seem like a bother though and could be more costly than if the extras were bundled with the show itself. Thanks for explaining it to me Koby.

We must watch different series as mine -I think - are included and dubbed. What series are missing them? And is this on boxsets or website?

....basically every series. Take Attack on Titan for example. Do the dvds have the 3 ovas and 9 bonus shorts? I'm guessing that it only has eps 1-25 and nothing else (or rather one has eps 1-13 and the other has 14-25).

Attack on Titan: Part 1 has the Chibi episodes (sub only, if I remember correctly) as well as some other bonus materials (see here)

As far as other shows go, it often is the same thing - bonus shorts most often are sub only or excluded. There are cases where bonus shorts are dubbed (recent example would be Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride) and even cases where audio dramas are included (like Queen`s Blade: Rebellion)

It also should be noted, that Japanese BDs often contains interviews with cast or recordings from live events witch rarely are seen in US releases (still footage from live events were included in Last Exile: Fam, The Silver Wing and Psycho-Pass releases).
