professa X
SO i've used the pcsx2 o play ps2 games and play them at higher definitions. Meaning if the game is 640x480 i can play it at 960x720p. It's so cool. So i'm wondering is there a video player that has a similar feature? please let me know if MPC-HC has some feature like this
Nintendon't
No. Some players let you upscale video to higher resolutions but it's not even close to actual HD quality.

JohnFlower
You're probably looking for madVR. Though any media player can take your 480p video and display it on a 1080p screen, just like pcsx2 does...
lemmingllama
Your best bets for video players is always either MPC-HC or mPlayer. Plus both will upscale when you fullscreen or change the resolution manually.
ZeroPenguins
PCSX2 is awesome shit, I can play PS2 games with 4 times the native resolution (2560x1920) which is pretty sick. Though it only works on stuff that is rendered not premade like models so it gets upscaled instead and looks shit. Video players upscale so that's a lot different to what PCSX2 does. There are different algorithm sets for upscaling, some can be more accurate than others, etc etc
