i know a guy who get netflix account by using "brute force".

can someone help me how to do that? wich tools do i need for that?

thanks a lot.

Even if it was possible, that seems like a really dumb idea. Wouldn't the owner immediately report it and get their account back? Plus it would be easy for Netflix to track you down unless you're using a VPN or whatever.

you just not get it. this guy only use netflix account that belongs to another users. they didn't even notice that someone else is using in their account. he didnt change the password of the account or something. he told me that he current have more than 30 accounts of users.

Brute force is where your friend would have hacked the passwords of those users accounts. It goes through every single possible letter and number combination available and tries each option to get into the account. He wouldnt get caught logging in as your friend used the username and password that that user would normally use.

You sound like a really smart guy so I'll just leave it to you. ;)

Netflix probably logs your IP/Mac address among other stuff and it would be pretty obvious to the owner that their account got compromised when there's a bunch of shit in their queue and watch history that they didn't add.

Yes, thats also true. How ever if you are just ripping from the site and do it carefully (obviously not heaps of films at the same time for the reason you pointed out) then it might not be detected. I dont know much about Netflix so was more focused on the OP's "brute-force" comment.

Possibly not as this is illegal... how ever searching Google isnt considered to be, so go from there.

Although I've never tried for Netflix, most things nowadays will have protection put in place to prevent brute-forcing from taking place. Even if they use a dictionary attack, it will still easily be caught and logged. Plus the fact that if they limit it to only one password per second, then it would potentially take years to just get one account.

TLDR: Don't try it, it won't work. Your friend is lying. And if they aren't, then just ask for a couple of the accounts, or better yet, just get Netflix yourself.
