Fallen

He has heard of Angels flying with broken wings,

 

So he turns to his left,

 

And then to the right.

 

His eyes fall upon burnt, black wings.

 

He thinks that if they can do it, then so can he.

 

He flaps his wings in an attempt to soar.

 

He starts to ascend, but then remembers that the fallen have lost Grace, and falls again.
