shadowtheman
I figured I would do a physical comparison for the three systems and there previous counterparts. In no way should these specs decide for you on what system your buying but knowledge is power and that's half the battle.lol Next gen:http://www.emirates247.com/business/technology/microsoft-xbox-one-vs-sony-ps4-vs-nintendo-wii-u-head-to-head-on-specs-prices-availability-2013-06-11-1.509965 Current:http://winsupersite.com/product-review/xbox-360-vs-playstation-3-vs-wii-technical-comparison For more info see Wiki pagesPS4http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_4 Xbox onehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xbox_One WiiUhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_U I think I'll grab up a ps4 first this next gen. The price isn't bad and theirs less bloat shipped with the system. Yet you never know I went for a Wii this last set and in the end I grabbed all three and it was worth it. Lets see how they stack against he most powerful, awesome, bombastic system ever. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_2600_hardwareNow all we need is the vectrex 2. J-Lord
I found the a nice read, it is nice to sit down and see what is and is not for the new console. For me in the end the games are why I buy the console and being a big Halo fan the xbox wins for me. Though who knows, 5 years ago I didn't think I would get a PS3 and here I am with a Wii-U, PS3 and Xbox 360. Battle of the console, a new era begins! LTJG RIO
So many iterations of the same thread.. too lazy to merge.Once again the battle of the system's makes me laugh so hard I might puke. I thought the PS4 borrowed game video was good but, the 24 hour suicide check thing was just a riot. Oh man thank you so much Koby I think I'm gonna copy that picture for later. shadowtheman
So many iterations of the same thread.. too lazy to merge. oh yeah, well I bet that none of them have the atari 2600 for comparison. LOL Kidding aside I just wanted to do a better comparison then just the numbers so I posted the old systems as well. I have to admit the was only a few when I posted this, now today there are five more. Yeesh. Edited June 13, 2013 by shadowtheman
Lord0Link
just found 2 intresting artikels about the X1's DRM http://www.wpcentral.com/lets-talk-xbox-drmhttp://microsoft-news.com/microsoft-engineer-defends-xbox-one-drm-requirements-makes-valid-points/ and if the second one ends up to be true that MS is going after the Steam model then Sony can suck it IMOI'm a proud Steam user with 267 games with only being a PC gamer/steam user for 2-3 Yearshttp://steamcommunity.com/id/Lord0Link
Soul Z
If that's what anonymous engi from Xbox thinks is what really going to happen in the future, but doesn't know the exact date, then I will get myself a PS4 and play Destiny hoping for the next gen to be brighter. Asta la vista Halo 5 I will never forget the memories I shared with you, Never.I think creation of Steam but for consoles is going to be an Excalibur stuck in the ... since not everybody is willing to co-operate, because there are other options for console gamers. For Steam it was much easier as the companies saw the potential in this idea later on after it's creation and PC (Windows) was the only gaming operation system(console) that everyone used at the beginning of PC gaming. For consoles to achieve that, one piece of software has to be made so that all consoles have the same stuff floating around in the cloud, just like steam for iMac and Linux. That's what I think anyways. Kyle_Dimetri
As i always say, i'm supporting Sony till the day i die due to them always having their customers in mind. Besides the xbox one seems more of a rental service to me. I'm from Jamaica and here the economy for the average is hard as faq and buying an xbox one is just an extra financial burden as one will HAVE TO purchase internet service just to keep the damn thing operational even when not playing games and that is just horseshit to people here where a single ps3/xbox 360 game cost on average $8500 - $9500 (approximtely $86-$96 US dollars) thus most persons borrow games from friends to play if they choose not to mod their ps3/360. In esscense Microsoft needs not to look Jamaica's way for customers with their $hitbox Edited July 6, 2013 by Kyle_Dimetri
