emjay911 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 HiI want to download Hellsing anime but I found out there is an original 13 episodes series and the still uncompleted 10 eps OVA.Is the OVA a different story or a continuation or a retelling of sorts? Breathless Posted November 10, 2012 Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 Hellsing Ultimate follows the Manga storyline completely where as the other one derails after a while.Hellsing Ultimate IMO is better in terms of storyline, art, voice acting, and basically everything. If you're picking one over the other defs go for Ultimate. The release dates might be a pain but it's pretty much complete now, I think 1 episode left or maybe 2. Koby Posted November 10, 2012 Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 Think of it like Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, except where Brotherhood failed to be better, Ultimate does.Hellsing drafted away from the manga and ended up being a lot of anime-original plot.
