Koby
In case you didn't read our Facebook Page to find out what was up.The issue was that apparently someone from Anonymous decided to attack Godaddy's DNS server, which we use for our domain. Since their DNS server was offline that meant our domain didn't know where to point and lost connection to our server. The server could still be accessed through it's IP Address, but most people don't know it, lol.So yeah, technically the site was down for a brief period today. However some people may have not noticed it if they have a crappy ISP that likes to cache DNS instead of actively updating. I know with me that people were reporting the site offline about 30 minutes before it stopped working for me on my own ISP.Anyhow there really was nothing we could do about it besides wait. It's back up now, so enjoy the community.
Alice
I saw it. It must have happened when I wasn't on. I have been on and off all day and never noticed it was down. If I hadn't seen the Facebook post about it...I'd have never noticed. Glad were back on thou.

Jªvª
Update about the outageGodaddy's Source - http://www.godaddy.c...lp&iphoneview=1Go Daddy Site Outage Investigation CompletedYesterday, GoDaddy.com and many of our customers experienced intermittent service outages starting shortly after 10 a.m. PDT. Service was fully restored by 4 p.m. PDT. The service outage was not caused by external influences. It was not a "hack" and it was not a denial of service attack (DDoS). We have determined the service outage was due to a series of internal network events that corrupted router data tables. Once the issues were identified, we took corrective actions to restore services for our customers and GoDaddy.com. We have implemented measures to prevent this from occurring again. At no time was any customer data at risk or were any of our systems compromised. Throughout our history, we have provided 99.999% uptime in our DNS infrastructure. This is the level our customers expect from us and the level we expect of ourselves. We have let our customers down and we know it. We take our business and our customers' businesses very seriously. We apologize to our customers for these events and thank them for their patience.- Scott Wagner Go Daddy CEOand actually I tried doing that Koby, but got the default page and plus i didn't know the folder setup lol Edited September 11, 2012 by -Jªvª-
